In this moderated discussion 41st Treasurer of the United States Rosario Marin will share her experiences in driving towards a more resilient, sustainable, and inclusive Travel & Tourism sector through her positions at national, state, and local government. As Secretary of the State and Consumer Services Agency, she was tasked with greening California which included creating green building standards, improving waste management, and supporting hotels in becoming more sustainable. She will highlight how sustainability has shaped her work and share lessons learnt on how to bring about sustainable change.
