A long hallway, lined with fluorescent lights, chin up to get light on her face and a reflection of a framed photograph.
Walking up and down Milan I crossed two awesome ladies: one of the rare times where I just stopped strangers before looking for the right background.
Lucrezia was fine posing for me after asking some questions about the project: it definitely turned into an interesting session, enjoyed by me but I guess also by the strangers!
Lucrezia is a student but also works as model.

As with #INDIGOHAIR, I have a confession to make here: this is someone else's photo, sort of. It is my photo, in the sense that I was walking along Dundas St. in Toronto. making our way back from Kensington and saw this really cool advert for Toronto Barber and Beauty Supply, pressed the ye old shutter release on the Nikon and gathered up the image on the internal SD Card. After much cloning and the like, playing around with the Glamour Glow effect in the NIK Collection and correcting her posture (I took the photo on an angle), this is whats we gots. One of these days, I am going to be a real glamour model photographer, you wait and see... I just got to learn all those details about lighting, exposure, all that other technical stuff, buy some really fancy and expensive equip... ment... ah, well... maybe I will just continue take photos of advertisements and the like.

By letting go of rules, you will discover new possibilities. In this photo, both left and right are behind a studio lamp, which is equipped with a softbox, but without a cloth, which normally makes the light more diffuse.
This harsh light beautifully emphasizes the texture of his skin.
On the right front is a third studio lamp with an umbrella with a silver interior.
The hard light from the back makes this photo very strong for me.

From one of those "wildlife model" shoots I did a few years ago ... memories of this little mink surfaced lately. Actually, I have been rehanging prints in my home following a complete internal paint job, and one wall had prints from that shoot. I decide I needed one more to square off the group and thought of this little mink. He was really enjoying his treat, and frankly was a gas to watch as he pranced around with his prize.
