When I was here this afternoon, they were in the process of building this layout, which they do every December at South Station. Unlike last year which was all imaginary, this one appears to be a very New England looking autumn scene with MBTA equipment. This carhouse has one Type 5 trolley and one PCC car! I'll get more pictures tomorrow.

This is a HO scale Roundhouse 60' Bulkhead Flat Lettered for PTTX # 90270. Details West PC&F log bunks were added to the car . The car is custom weathered, has metal wheels and Kaydee #5 couplers. The wood load is made up of individual poles glued together with white glue and the load is removable. The banding is made from elastic jewelery string..

David Lee of Dundas, Canada spent 50 years making this elaborate model train set in his basement to 1/87th scale.

In 2017, it was moved to the McMaster University Health Sciences building at Bay St. and Main St. in downtown Hamilton.

Sadly David Lee died on January 22, 2019.

The completed track layout for the high level junction

I saw this release and found the exact basis I wanted to use for my coaches.

This was a trial to see what underlay was suitable for my purposes - quietness. There have been many changes to the above. The tracks next to the goods shed are now 4, 2 for VR/V/Line steel wagons and 2 for NSW steel wagons like Albury, there is a small steam depot about 4pm on the return loop and various other changes. The British stock is stored and the layout is now completely NSW and Victorian

There is a model train that travels over the check-out counters at the Bi-Lo - about 10 feet above head level. Don't know what it has to do with anything, but I enjoy it

This is a modified HO scale Model Power kit " Gruesome Casket " which has been reduced in depth to fit a small space on my Terminal Avenue Layout. The side workshop has been removed and relocated to another project whilst the depth of the main building was cut down to approx 4 1/2" to fit the space.......GRUESOME

Got them for free on facebook. Just cleaned them up, a friend of mine will do some fixing up.

I use a product called Bondic, which is an UV cured plastic, to add more stability to fragile details. I add a tiny droplet to

the corners of stirrups and other parts who are prone to break during handeling.

When the plastic is lighted with the UV-led it gets hard, but stil transparent. This product

isn't a glue so the bond isn't very strong. But strong enough to make the model more robust. When you put to much stress on it, bond simply breaks which isn't a bad thing to happen. Because it is better to lose a stirrup then to brake an end frame.

They're small and fun and do what we tell them. Per A. Høyer/coltrain2011 / Model Trains

Four westerns, all in different liveries, stand at Hickenfield.

Like my HO scale lineup, this is also a small collection, but it's a pretty diverse grouping. What you see here are: Conrail SD80MAC, CSX SD70ACe, Golden West Service boxcar, Union Pacific boxcar, Metra cabcar, Metra coach, Virginia Railway Express cabcar, Virginia Railway Express coach, three boxcars, and a tank car.

Safety first! Preparations for scenic edging to prevent accidents and rolling stock descending to the floor.

This is not mine, it's a shot from a display at a local model train show.
