This is a Fremo-USA HO scale modular model railroad. These modules are less than 20 inches deep. To show the speeding train I used a slow shutter, the train was stopped for the first second and then moved to get this effect.

Beekeepers make their way through some brush while approaching a couple of reclusive hives for inspection.
The Monashee Pacific was a proposed railway in the 1950's that was never built. The Edmonton Model Railway Association, located at Fort Edmonton Park, has created a world where this railway exists. The level of detail is incredible, from the towns, the trains and the people, no minute detail has been omitted. There is even someone taking a crap in the woods with a bear approaching him.
I could have spent days photographing this incredible layout. I have only included the highlights.
A Conrail C39-8 leads a run through Southern Pacific SD40-2M on the point of westbound freight PIAS as it crests the grade coming out of the Ohio River valley west of Steubenville, Ohio on my home model railroad layout.
This is an HO-Scale model of a mid 1800's home, originally sold as a 'kit home' for $1700. The model is by Laser Art. Photos were shot with a Nikon SQ, some touch up done with PhotoShop and the final collage assembled in PrintMaster

Club Member Brett Myers was running a 100 coal train. To pull a train of this length, In HO scale as in real life you need power on the front and back of the train. For unknown reason he lost power to the front units as they began to stop the the rear unit continued to push Something has to give and it did. In real life this would of been about a 100 ft drop. (NO people or cars were damaged in this derailment)
The lift bridge sees a lot of rail traffic. Here BN 1411 takes a train back to the staging yard known as 3D Staging. Note how by looking through the bridge spans you can see modules in the distance.
