The elegance of a ballerina remains intact. And playing with light and shadow ensures that the texture of the clothing is emphasized in a beautiful way.
This photo shows that sometimes looking back at the photos you've taken, you sometimes see gems that you haven't seen before.
I feel like I'm in a rut. It's come to this - a model craft at one of the local parks. Kinda cool, actually - every time I go to this particular park seems like, the local model boat "club" is meeting. They've really got some detailed big models cruising around. If I had asked, I'm sure I could have gotten a ton of info on this model. The Wood Ducks were not too far away, by the way - from last week.
Check it "large". Give it a couple of clicks. It's very detailed, pretty fun.

Photography is a game, not about looking, but by taking the time to see possibilities.
At this location, we are dealing with indirect light, behind me is a building that blocks the direct sunlight, but to my left you have a side street where the sunlight on the side of a building reflects the sunlight on the face of John arrives.
Behind John is another residential tower, where the sunlight hits one of the windows and this reflection could be seen on the street.
By placing John in the right place, you can make a 'simple' photo, in which John is illuminated by the sunlight from several sides.
You do not achieve such a photo by looking, but by learning to see.

Earlier this week I had already posted a color version of this setting online. This is a black and white version.
To create the right atmosphere or feeling in a photo, the viewing direction can be an important part.
Because she is busy putting on her shoe and her foot is the point of view, it seems as if she is in her own little world and that as a photographer you only have to look and decide when you wanted to take the picture.

Strijp-S in Eindhoven is a well-known location for many photographers. It is a location that offers many opportunities to take a good photo of someone.
Not only the outdoor locations are very interesting. Strijp-S also has many beautiful atmospheric indoor locations. I take into account that I am present as a customer/visitor, I always order some food or drink and always ask permission to take pictures inside.

Making ordinary things special, this is something I try to capture in my photography. It is all the more beautiful when such a photo is given the right atmosphere and look and feeling.
The super soft color tones and very low contrast have given this photo the fairytale-like, classic atmosphere.
The calmness in this photo is the icing on the cake.

Photography is not only about taking pictures, but also about being able to read light and shadow and seeing opportunities and possibilities.
Eating something like cake, with the right way of playing light, can be enough to let a photo do the talking.
