I'd wanted a version of this toy since I was a child (probably influenced by images of Jetfire in Transformers catalogues), and I finally got one while I was living in Japan in 2002. I only realised while taking these photos that, although this guy has been part of my collection for almost a decade, I had never actually converted him to gerwalk mode. I can't believe it.
Now I'm going to have to display him in this mode for at least the next couple of years, ha!
The diecast parts have gone a bit dull, but aside from a bit of dust, the toy is in pretty good nick. I was too lazy to switch out the cockpit heat shield for this mode.

World Graffiti Comptition - Bridlington 88 ModeII Came 2nd, Many Entrants Included Goldie, Lokiss etc. The bald headed character on the right had got a mad g-string & stockings on, Mode was asked to cover her up...?!!
I was not expecting emotional impact this trip had on me on the days leading up to the end. This series represented all the emotions I was going through in that last day.
