what right now is needed next …
Each year reaches new horizons,
the past has been addressed -
and we live our life believing,
our time is the very best.
Just got back from yet another trip to the Lake District. Not many photos taken due to inclement weather (putting it mildly) but here's one from April last year. I must have found a handy rock as this is in high resolution mode.

Candler is an unincorporated community in Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States. It lies on North Carolina Highway 151 and U.S. Routes 19, 23, and 74 Business, at an elevation of 2,122.7 feet (647 m). The ZIP code of Candler is 28715. The community is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area. This mountain community nestles in Hominy Valley, approximately halfway between Asheville (to the east) and Canton (to the west) via Interstate 40 (about 20 minutes either way). Mt. Pisgah, with access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, stands to the south, Asheville to the east, and Newfound Gap to the north. This image was created from multiple exposures blended together in Photoshop CS6 layers using the "Lighten" blend mode. All exposures were taken with a single Paul C. Buff Einstein strobe with a 22" beauty dish attached to a Elinchrom boom arm and a 3-stop B&W ND filter attached to my lens. UNEXPECTED VISITOR Just as we were packing up from seeing anything decent from our hide in a wooded area, this beautiful male cuckoo appeared, with glistening emerald green plumage. We had a mad panic trying to get back into shooting mode again, as it did stay more than a few seconds. Seen in the Gambia, and lucky to do so.

Seit ein paar Monaten gibt es einen Containerzug von Bremen über Bamberg nach Hof von der Firma Tchibo. Der Zug wird in Bamberg geteilt, ein Teil geht weiter nach Neumarkt (Oberpfalz), der Rest des Zuges über Lichtenfels und die Schiefe Ebene nach Hof. Damit gibt es seit langer Zeit mal wieder einen planmäßigen Güterzug über diese Strecke. Der Hofer Zugteil wird in der Regel von 248 007 gezogen.
Der Zug stand auch schon lange bei mir auf der Wunschliste, am 09.10.2021 passte es dann endlich mal. Vor der kleinen Ortschaft Poppenreuth, kurz vor Münchberg gelegen, wurde der Containerzug vom Hochstativ aufgenommen.
Quand t'as les cros, que tu veux te faire un restau , que celui ci est fermé et que tu te retrouve nez à nez pendant une bonne heure avec ce genre d'individu ... Ben t'as la smile et et tu oublies volontiers ce repas espéré ;-)
