Amy in night portrait mode. This is a mode on my camera I hadn't used before. What it does is take a quick flash, to capture the foreground, and then sits for a couple seconds, continuing on with a longer exposure for the background. It works out OK, especially because Amy is pretty good at sitting still. The flash is way too bright on this camera, though. I need to diffuse it somehow. Maybe I'll mess around with wax paper or something one of these days.

First time using the wireless remote control. By the time i got this shot, i was frrrreezing cold. It was 5 degrees celcius that Monday, with the sun shining only for a short 15 minutes for the entire day. Was trying to catch the bench's shadow .. oh well.. tschuss!

Our mode of transport from London Gatwick to Zagreb, which was stage 2 of 3 in our venture to Cavtat, was Croatia Airlines Airbus A319-112 9A-CTL. This is from the bus which took us from the aircraft to the terminal building. A distance of approx 50 metres. The bus was articulated and if had been parked nose onto the aircraft, we could just have walked through the bus!
