Start of a new series of images capturing candid moments of people on mobile phones.

to spread buddhism in this modern world, lamas are given much freedom, now a days. in early days, the rules were quite strict but now they can keep gadgets like phone 'n camera and are also permitted to go home when there is any need in family. they were all very cooperative and lenient about the religious rules 'n regulations.

Ordinary.

No, that's not a critique, that's what it's called.

The namesake son of a famous sculptor who created, among other things, the Swann Fountain in Philadelphia (which you'll see here very soon! ;-) ) and the grandson of the sculptor of the William Penn statue atop Philadelphia's City Hall, Alexander Calder was famous for his steel modernist pieces and even more famous for his mobiles. This one, Ordinary, sits in the "plaza" (or what passes for one) at the Seagram Building at Park Avenue in New York City between East 52nd and East 53rd Streets. I love Calder's mobiles, and this one is the only redeeming quality in this utterly blank space.

Goin' mobile! :-D

Blue skies this way - not so much the other way

This is one of the hardest steps. Using your nail or a sharp edge, press in, half-way between two points. Make sure you are totally perpindecular to the paper.

Found a lot of non-working cars in Alpine. Not quite a junkyard,it's next to an auto repair shop & probably the collection of the shop's owner who "plans to fix" each & every one of these someday.
