The Episcopal Christ Church is located in downtown Mobile, Alabama.
Established in 1823, it is the first Episcopal congregation in Alabama.
The church was completed in 1842.
The elegant white butterflies on this mobile dance gently on the slightest air current and lend enchanting movement to any room.

Despite the elegant look, the "Starflower" is a heavy fighter often designated for support roles, like providing targeting info or covering fire for it's wingmates.
Made for MFZ: Dog Fight!
With thousands of these metal supports and miles of wood pieces to be removed by hands, this machine suspends a platform over the side of a bridge so workers can reach the materials. It has a motor, operated by men on the bridge, to drive the machine a few feet at a time and move the platform along the bridge's edge.

Street candid taken in Glasgow, Scotland. The entrance to Buchanan Street Subway station struck me as an odd place to do business, I guess it must have been urgent. It was the reflection in the marble that really caught my attention for the shot. Lots of detail in this - press 'L' for full screen.
I finished the pillow for the Pillow Talk Swap - it's all quilted up and is a nice 18x18 size. Solid kona grey on the back with some fun ties I tried for a little something different this round!
With the wholesome character of a woolen cardigan, a bible verse and two spoons of codliver oil, who could blame the moths for gathering around her?
Large wildfires burning nearby tend to be quite distracting. This one has our full attention right now.
Would you believe we have another one to the south of us. And yesterday, when I shot this, the hog pile at our energy plant was on fire. You can see the smoke from that right in the city.
