The Episcopal Christ Church is located in downtown Mobile, Alabama.

Established in 1823, it is the first Episcopal congregation in Alabama.

The church was completed in 1842.

The elegant white butterflies on this mobile dance gently on the slightest air current and lend enchanting movement to any room.

Despite the elegant look, the "Starflower" is a heavy fighter often designated for support roles, like providing targeting info or covering fire for it's wingmates.

Made for MFZ: Dog Fight!

With thousands of these metal supports and miles of wood pieces to be removed by hands, this machine suspends a platform over the side of a bridge so workers can reach the materials. It has a motor, operated by men on the bridge, to drive the machine a few feet at a time and move the platform along the bridge's edge.

Queen of the river back in her day, I'm sure.

Mobile's Convention Center is located downtown. It is right on the waterfront.

This is a view of the convention center from the deck of the Carnival Fantasy.

Pity; he actually sent this to me via text to get me to come home... it worked.

Street candid taken in Glasgow, Scotland. The entrance to Buchanan Street Subway station struck me as an odd place to do business, I guess it must have been urgent. It was the reflection in the marble that really caught my attention for the shot. Lots of detail in this - press 'L' for full screen.

Reposting as this photo was deleted from my flickr account not by my hand! very annoyed.!!!!!!!

Large wildfires burning nearby tend to be quite distracting. This one has our full attention right now.

Would you believe we have another one to the south of us. And yesterday, when I shot this, the hog pile at our energy plant was on fire. You can see the smoke from that right in the city.

My swap partner listed grey and white as their favourite colours for the mobile swap. made with recycled and reclaimed papers, thread, seqiuns and a reused metal and plastic hanger.

I am still trying to get a handle on using the Lightroom Mobile app on my iPad. This was synced from my computer to my iPad in RAW, processed in Lightroom Mobile, and synced from there directly to Flickr. I think I've got it, by George.
