Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Some promotional goings-on with free handouts of doughnuts causing quite a stir on the streets of the city. The queue for the deep fried sugary rings of dough was a whole city block long and included homeless beggars, businessmen and police community support officers alike. Doughnuts, the great leveller. Enjoy!
You can't keep a dog from their meats, even if it is a robot dog.

I couldn't resist another photo of my pears before they get eaten. I chose these red ones at the Farmers Market just for their beautiful colour.
Delicious on chilly morning

There's nothing tastier for a squirrel other than fresh peanuts, and this guy seems to be enjoying his.
Point Reyes immature Red tailed Hawk dines on a Vole on the side of a road. This is the second "no fear of humans" young hawk that I've come across this year. This one finished the meal and hopped up on a fencepost for a little beak cleaning before flying back to the telephone pole hunting perch.
Here is an old file photo I missed getting on Flickr last summer. This is from the LaPorte County, IN 4-H fair. I would like a pig of my own but John doesn't think he would like one. LOL!
Or maybe Ralph McQuarrie's concept art for Coruscant's north pole. Huge pipelines moving water down to the city planet at lower latitudes. One of my favourite pieces of his; I remembered it the other day and thought it was totally Hibernia-esque. I love the dark rust tones contrasting with the whites and blues, the huge scale of everything.
Pointless nostalgic history: I first saw this picture in the Illustrated Star Wars Universe book, with art by Ralph and text by Kevin J. Anderson. One of my early Star Wars treasures, 1995 I bought it!
19 goddamn 95.
Back when the prequels were just horny fanboy rumours and all we had were our Shadows of the Empire comics and Dark Forces game (okay, and maybe those lovely Topps Widescreen collector cards - I had some of the Ep IV set, my god they were beautiful!)
We went across the mountains on Monday to visit the kids, and while we were there I spotted an oak tree with a bunch of acorns on the ground. Scooped up a bag full to bring home for the squirrels as a change of pace. Takes them a bit longer to get into them, but they sure seem to like them!!
Best viewed large of course....
Please see my website for this and other photographs as cool greeting cards - www.fuzzchops.com - thanks!!
