As for me, I never....relaxed in there, apart from the short lunch-break...I was like a busy-bee-Liza with her camera, running excited from here to there, tiptoe, among the blooms !!!

A couple more images from my latest trip to the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey.

Guessed? Yes it's Garlic. But I'm not clear about the exact stage.

I used to grow Garlic, and removed the scapes to encourage the bulbs and cloves to grow bigger. The last couple of years Garlic has still grown, on its own, and produced stems and these heads, which look as if they are made up of cloves. They taste garlicy, but mild. Wikipedia calls them an inflorescence. Any expert out there?

This Red-whiskered Bulbul managed to double up on these Crane flies ! I knew them as "Daddy Long Legs" growing up in Wales - not sure if that term is used in the US.
