This week Jen, Steve, and I spent a couple of hours at the Columbus Microbrew Festival. The festival was another fine event held at the North Market.. All of the local breweries were there, from Elevator Brewing Company, to the new kid on the block, Neil House Brewery.
Jen enjoyed some fruity beers: the Raspberry Wheat at Barley's, the Cranberry Cider at Neil House, and Fly'n Hydrant Light at Elevator(not fruity at all).
I really just celebrated the start of Oktoberfest by diving into a few beers which are named after the festival, here, here, and here.
Given how nice it was outside, I really wish they held it along Spruce street or in the farmers market stalls. All and all, surely worth the cost of entry and looking forward to the next one.
