For Amanda's quilt. I used a template from Pepper Stitches for the embroidery, and free-handed the title: Wonky Bee 2013 Mix.
This one's for my daughter, who mentioned it was time to mix it up as the roses were getting a little boring ;))

This is a beautiful old home on the River Aven in Pont Aven, Brittany, France. One of the most beautiful towns I've been lucky enough to visit. Taken three years ago with a crappy little point and shoot; photoshop and great textures by Distressed Jewell fixed it up. Definitely better viewed large.

Entrando na brincadeira do mix & match, fiz essa esmaltação no mesmo dia que a Kelly e usei praticamente os mesmos tons nos esmaltes escolhidos.
De base usei o Corda Bamba da Colorama. No indicador e polegar passei o Big Money da Sally Hansen, no dedo médio e no mínimo usei o Cherubic da Color Club.
Esse tipo de nail art me fascina há um tempo, mas só agora coloquei em prática e é tão fácil de fazer que já estou bolando novas combinações..

I made these shots for a contest currently going on at the dolly daily board- you had to put together an outfit in which every part was from a different clothing set, and imagine a dialogue or text that has something to do with the FR convention.

American film actor Tom Mix (1880 –1940) was the star of many early Westerns between 1909 and 1935. Mix appeared in 291 films, all but nine of which were silent movies. He was Hollywood's first Western megastar and helped to define the genre for all cowboy actors who followed.
Oh, my this was fun. I was mixing mostly from the cool side of my palette, but then discovered that my ultramarine blue and my new Quin Red made the purple I have been searching for...and that was a warm blue mixed with a cool red, so I was really confused. But I at last have found a good purple I can mix without having a purple slot on my palette. Anyway this was really fun...and all the pen lines were drawn just to try to make something out of the colors I had sloshed down. Felt like a child. Fun. Now to do something serious with these nice color blends...
