This event is being brought to you through the CNRS (National Center For Scientific Research) and the APC (Astroparticule et Cosmologie) Laboratory. The APC laboratory lies at the interface between the study of the very large and the very small, and it brings together several communities (experimentalists, observers and theoreticians). It is centered on three themes: cosmology and gravitation, high energy astrophysics, neutrinos.
During the inauguration of The House of Astroparticule on 14 May, it will be possible to view the launch of the Planck satellite at Kourou (Guyana) at about 1300 UTC (6AM SLT), to visit its virtual replica and to meet with scientists during the conferences and the projections which will surround the event. APC Laboratories Second Life presence was created by i-Marginal, one of our French Solution Providers. (CNRS Press Release in French)

I thought that I was over you
How I was mistaken
Why did I bump into you
And start this chain reaction, hmm
I felt it building up inside
When suddenly wohoowo
It was more than I could bear
Hmm, more than I could bear
Oh, when I saw you
Walking down the road with someone new
I couldn't believe it was true
It was true
I find it hard to sleep at night
This jealousy is burning, bright
Visions of somebody else
Torments me to destruction, oh yeah
I think of him making, making love to you
It's more than I can wohoowo
Hmm, more than I can bear
Oh, when I saw you
Walking down the road with someone new
I couldn't believe it was true
It was true
Walking down the road with someone new
I close my eyes, I know I'm over you
Over you
Oh, when I saw you
Walking down the road with someone new
I close my eyes, I know I'm over you
Over you
It's more than I
It's more than I could bear
It's more than I
It's more than I could bear
It's more than I could bear

_______
Art Center presents the Second Life premiere of 77 Million Paintings by Brian Eno, in partnership with The Long Now Foundation and blueair.tv/. This exhibition will be happening concurrently with the real life one at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and take place throughout various locations in Second Life, each with their own unique installation, as well as a different 77 Million Paintings collectible gift at each spot.
Conceived by Brian Eno as "visual music", his latest artwork, 77 Million Paintings is a constantly evolving sound and imagescape which continues his exploration into light as an artist's medium and the aesthetic possibilities of "generative software".
He first created 77 Million Paintings to bring art to the increasing number of flat panel TV's and monitors that often sit darkened and underutilized. Now Eno is also showing large installations of this work, recently at the Venice Bienniale and Milan Triennale, and in Tokyo, London and South Africa. The installation will be the Second Life premiere of his work to dovetail the North American premiere in San Francisco.
77 Million Paintings installation in Second Life developed by Annabeth Robinson, known virtually as AngryBeth Shortbread.

About Invisible Threads:
Invisible Threads is a mixed reality performance installation created by Eyebeam artists Jeff Crouse and Stephanie Rothenberg. The project explores the growing intersection between labor, emerging virtual economies and real life commodities through the creation of a designer jeans sweatshop in the metaverse Second Life. Simulating a real life manufacturing facility that includes hiring Second Life “workers” to produce real world jeans sold for profit, the project provides an insider’s view into current modes of global, telematic production.
