"I am cursed with a cackle whenever I tackle
A soulful and lilting refrain;

I have always been drawn to all things in life that represent "tribes", "warriors". . .
Perhaps remnants of a past life or maybe it is just that I know the days ahead for humanity.
It is time to find our "tribe" and the universe, God - call it what you will - is bringing us our "tribes". Connecting like never before.
Many souls have had to walk solo on earth, unsupported with a deep knowledge that these days would come. Often feeling isolated, misunderstood, criticized, laughed at - that is being polite. These are the lessons of the warrior. To be able to stand tall - despite being knocked to the ground over and over again. The ability to rise up from the broken shell society made of you, a little weaker but eventually in time becoming stronger and wiser.
You become detached somewhat from this world of illusion. You see what others fail to see, there is no need for another's opinion or acceptance in life. You become the powerful force you were born to be.
The gentle Peaceful Warrior. Don't push the Peaceful Warrior, for there is a power of the divine that is undeniable - and no amount of evil can dim the light or power of the Divine. The physical body may perish, but the Soul is for all Eternity. This life is like a minute grain of sand in the scale of things.
It never ceases to amaze me, watching as things unfold as they are meant to be, and as I had always known.
Souls being bought together - Tribes coming together for humanity.
I am blessed - May you also be blessed and find your Tribe and may the warrior in you be woken

The venue was "Teatro del Museo de Bellas Artes" and the show was Hermanos Abreu and friends. Betsy Salazar(?) was one of the invitees to play with the still teenage sons Diego and Fabio of percussionist Yaroldy Abreu Robles. There were 3 bassist alternating on the stage and Betsy captured my attention not only with her intricate hair style. I have never seen a bass player to play with such grace. It was a ballet of fingers on four strings. I am not sure of her last name, as it was either Salara or Salazar. I asked her, but probably misunderstood. Usually, I would find some reference, but I guess she is still in school, so her name is not yet familiar. Yunior Terry and Roberto Alvarez were the two other bassists on stage. I was sitting and talking with Ferdinand Stemmer, a Swiss organ master, who is restoring the Merklin-Schütze organ (1856) in the Basilica St. Francis. He is now working on it for few years, a labour of love. You definitelly meet a lots of interesting people in Havana.

I was thinking of starting a new project of greek originated words that are international.
There are a lot of them , you' ll be surprised. This has nothing to do with any kind of comparison or anything else than just a part of our history ( i do not want to be misunderstood !!! ).
I think it is difficult ,so it is a temptation for me.
this is the first on , titled "Chronos" , meaning "Time" in Greek. You probably know "chronograph" , some device that measures time. For more info just google it.

April 1879. Ferdinand Cheval, a 43-year-old rural postman, stumbled upon such a strange stone during his rounds that it sparked a dream. A true self-taught man, he would dedicate 33 years of his life to single-handedly building a dream palace in his vegetable garden, inspired by nature, postcards, and the first illustrated magazines he delivered. Traveling some thirty kilometers each day on his rounds through the countryside, he would collect stones, aided by his trusty wheelbarrow. Alone and misunderstood, he inscribed on his monument, "The work of one man." His dream palace was completed in 1912.

It was here that the belief of Edith Pretty and the archaeological skills and experience of Basil Brown led to the discovery of the burial site of an Anglo-Saxon king, most likely Raedwald who ruled East Anglia in the early 7th century.
But he wasn't simply buried in a grave or a chamber, he was buried in a ship 27m/89ft long containing many treasures which had been dragged there from the River Deben more than 400 m down the hill, some task!
As Basil and a team of archaeologists dug deeper, they unearthed fine feasting vessels, deluxe hanging bowls, silverware from distant Byzantium, luxurious textiles, gold dress accessories set with Sri Lankan garnets and the iconic helmet with human mask.
The discovery (just as the Second World War was breaking out in 1939) rewrote our understanding of a time that we had previously misunderstood. Post-Roman Britain was considered to have entered the 'Dark Ages', where civilisation in all aspects of life declined. Sutton Hoo proved otherwise.

If you look closely, focussing on the horseshoe shape about 1/3 in from the left, you can make out two metal 'structures' marking the bow and the stern - one at the top of the horseshoe and the other below, halfway between bottom of the horseshoe and the path).

The black bear is one of the most misunderstood animals on the planet.
Here in Eastern North Carolina, we're home to the largest black bears and one of the highest densities of black bears in North America. These incredible animals have captivated me, leading me to spend countless hours over the years studying their behavior and photographing them in the wild.
Much of what people think they know about black bears is based on myths rather than facts. In reality, they're intelligent, fascinating animals that usually prefer to avoid people whenever possible.
Black bears deserve our respect, not our fear. The more we understand them, the better we can coexist and appreciate these magnificent animals for what they truly are.
