I rarely post my mistakes, but this one was interesting: I had my camera set for a 3-shot HDR when the geese flew overhead. Forgetting I was on a 3-shot HDR (in camera) setting, I fired away and got the weird 'ghosting' effect.

At first I thought using the flash was going to be a mistake, but in the end I think it made this a neat little photo. Back in faerie land a few weekends ago, in Saguenay. Dew or rain (it was generally a wet - but awesome- trip) was on everything and it was so magical-looking in the woods.

My youngest son took this photo with my camera which I had left at 1600 iso and also had at 1/60 shutterspeed. The image appeared almost white. I goofed around in PS and came up with this. I really like the expressions on everyone.
