Those who remember the '70s and '80s would probably realize the marketing downside to naming an investment center "Superfund." But then again, most of this capital has turned toxic in the year since I've taken this shot, so maybe they were prescient.

this is an odd pose, but whatever.

 

i was actually trying to make a heart shadow, but i was standing in front of it, creating this crazy picture, but it's growing on me.

Safety shot for today, it's been wet all day and I have little inspiration. But there's always a willing model around. Had put him on the windowsill, but still he got a little bit wet.

  

When I left Manitoba for the Yukon, their slogan was "Friendly Manitoba."

Nothing wrong with that!

But by the time I got back, it'd been changed to "Manitoba: Spirited Energy", and the ad campaign - which was less than helpful in detailing what the flying hell "spirited energy" actuall was - indicated that the only people living in Manitoba were women and visible minorities.

Way to go, Manitoba!

How much did this cost again...?

(In my eyes, "Spirited Energy" is a massive, if not quite brilliant, mistake. But it's still better than "Saskatchewan!")
