Have you ever taken a familiar trail and turned "right" instead of the usual "left"? I did today and found this "new" view of Granite Mountain while standing in Mint Wash.
Mint or mentha belongs to the Lamiaceae family, which contains around 15 to 20 plant species, including peppermint and spearmint. It is a popular herb that people can use fresh or dried in many dishes and infusions

A standard Sunday around the house. Managed to get a lot of house work done, the laundry is almost caught up and I prepared something new for dinner this week.
I found a recipe online for vegan cabbage rolls, so I'm giving that a shot and hoping it's pretty tasty. They've been in the slow cooker all afternoon and they smell wonderful. Fingers crossed that they taste as good as they smell.
Since St. Patrick's day is just around the corner, I figured I'd work some green into this week's Sweet Sunday image, and the mint chocolate ice cream caught my eye while going through the grocery store yesterday.

The mint is the green growing out the back door! So good for so many things! Mint tea anyone? It grows all winter.
I found this mint green distressed library chair at a thirft store last weekend for $10. I've been looking for two head chairs for my dining room and this chair matches my mint green, brown, and cream Dash and Albert striped rug perfectly. The pillow was found at a craft show in my town for $5. It is made from an antique tablecloth.
