"My advice to you is not to inquire why or whither, but just enjoy your ice cream while it's on your plate." - Thornton Wilder

A standard Sunday around the house. Managed to get a lot of house work done, the laundry is almost caught up and I prepared something new for dinner this week.

I found a recipe online for vegan cabbage rolls, so I'm giving that a shot and hoping it's pretty tasty. They've been in the slow cooker all afternoon and they smell wonderful. Fingers crossed that they taste as good as they smell.

Since St. Patrick's day is just around the corner, I figured I'd work some green into this week's Sweet Sunday image, and the mint chocolate ice cream caught my eye while going through the grocery store yesterday.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

This beautiful moth is really quite tiny in size being no bigger than the tip of the little finger. The image was taken in my garden when I spotted it land on one of the garden plants.

The mint is the green growing out the back door! So good for so many things! Mint tea anyone? It grows all winter.

Herbs for Smile on Saturday

I found this mint green distressed library chair at a thirft store last weekend for $10. I've been looking for two head chairs for my dining room and this chair matches my mint green, brown, and cream Dash and Albert striped rug perfectly. The pillow was found at a craft show in my town for $5. It is made from an antique tablecloth.

My mother, wife and I went for a drive to Minter Gardens, located near Vancouver, BC. An enjoyable time was had by all.
