The Parish Church of St Andrew
The village of Minting is situated a a few miles north-west from the town of Horncastle in the district of East Lindsey and the ancient wapentake of Gartree.
The parish church is dedicated to St Andrew and was almost completely rebuilt in 1864 in the Decorated style, the building contains some medieval masonary in the chancel.
Near the church is the site of Minting Priory, a 12th century Benedictine religious house.

I noticed yesterday the little mint plant on my windowsill is flourishing :)
