When it's almost spring and roses have yet to bloom, it's a delight to have miniature roses on hand.

Have a lovely day.
Plenty of Bonsai sized trees in the model village in Bourton on the Water in Gloucestershire. This model village was constructed in the 1930ās and is a miniature replica of the village as it was then and essentially how the centre of the village still is. A very popular tourist destination.
This tiny Dragonfly is actually only 1.5cm long and is one part of a pair of earrings, with shiny stones set in the wings.
There are a couple of notable things here that caught my eye. First of all, there is the miniature horse which is so cute. I am going to call her āTiny Tina.ā Secondly, who designed the roof on the shed? I canāt image what purpose that serves. Thirdly, there is a really large flying bug, which I canāt identify, on the rope in front of Tiny Tina. Lastly, there are a number of different fence styles. Why just stick to one when you can mix it up? HFF

A macro shot of a Swarovski crystal rowing boat.
Taken for the Macro Mondays theme of 'Miniature'
I placed the boat on a windowsill with natural light coming from the right and placed a a sheet of transparent blue plastic behind to give the effect of water.
We have several "wave" sculptures from artists of beaches we visit. This one is approximately three inches tall. Until I looked at it through my macro lens, I thought it was all blue with clear water drops. I was surprised to see so many colors fired inside.

Ferns were not to be overlooked on this walk trough the woods, their bright green was drawing my attention to the forest floor.
Ferns and their relatives gave rise to the first tree-like plants and, 385 million years ago, to the first forests.

For the Macro Monday challenge "Tradition" (December 20th 2021)
I suppose it has become a tradition of sorts. We have both our birthdays and wedding anniversary in December, and it made quite a headache when choosing presents. So some years ago we decided to start collecting original art works created by artists we admired and enjoyed. So far we have hand-blown glass, hand-printed photographs, and this year we've added a few miniature hand-turned ceramic pots and vases. These are truly tiny - the ones I used here are all under 3" at the broadest point. They are individually made and glazed and perfect for macro photography!! š (There's a shot of all 3 in the first comment field. The necks of the bottles are about 1" tall)
HMM!! and have a lovely festive week ahead!
