A miniature Daily Telegraph newspaper dated 23rd April 1964 and measuring 4 1/4 inches by 51/2 . I can recal our dad going to Fleet street late at night from his shop to pick up a paper for the next morning and if we were with him a man in the office would give us one of these now and again.

Although this is NOT what I'm used to do, I got the courage to start making some miniature peonies for my dollhouse.

This a small grouping of mini baskets made from nutshells. My first was a Shagbark hickory nut basket that I found in my grandparent's possessions. Since that first one sparked my interest I have collected and made quite a few from black walnuts, hazel nuts, and fruit stones such as peaches and plums.

A Governor miniature from Black Scorpion. The freehand on the parchment scroll did not come out as well as I hoped. However, when viewed from tabletop distances, the writing works well enough.
A display at a local garden centre, of a miniature alpine village. The train went round the rail track, the ski lifts worked and the street lights shone as well. Really fascinating.

I made these miniature Raggedies. They are less than 2 inches tall in their sitting positions. They are all cloth and their thread hair is rooted. Next time I want to make their arms and legs floppy so they are more like full sized Raggedy dolls.
