I saw this little stork high up in the tower of St. Jacobs' Church in The Hague. This miniature stork is only two centimetres high and is kept behind glass.

Continuing our miniature Oribana project... and here is another artwork for our mini-oribana called CAPRICE from the Oribana Delight collection.

The vase is just 2 inches (5 cm) high and the whole Oribana arrangement is just 4.5 inches (11cm) high.

The starring paper plants designed by Katrin are Orchid Pleione, Daisies, Yellow Lobelias and Pine Tree's Branch. The container design is Vase 'Caprice' by Yury. Used wonderful Japanese papers for plants and Swedish paper for the vase.

Note for origami enthusiasts: The step-by-step diagrams on how to fold the composition are published in our ORIBANA DELIGHT

www.oriland.com/store/collections/oribana_delight/main.php Happy folding!

Happy rocks - Peinture sur galets

We visited 'Miniature World' in Victoria, BC, last year and took a lot of photos while there - i took most of them, and my little point & shoot held up pretty well in dark lit conditions through the crazy reflective glass! lol.

Anyhoo - I was amazed by the detail of the minis in there, and it was a blast to look around and take in all of the little scenes and views. Lovely!

Blogged, here: michelleclement.typepad.com/blog/2010/04/miniature-world-...

This is a picture of my miniature bakery done is shabby style and is 1:12 scale. The doll in blue was made by Julie Campbell and the lady in the hat was done by Kay Ship.

As the rest of my work, I did sculpt this from scratch with polymer clay.

I just learned what a tilt-shift miniature image is and thought I'd give it a go. These were processed in Photoshop.

Mutianyu Great Wall, China

I did this small painting this morning and entered it in a local show. If you look at my previous post, you will see I used the second design idea for this painting.

3x3 inch (7.6x7.6 cm) canvas, Golden acrylics and media, 3/8 flat brush.

I made these for my mom recently and now that they were delivered to her I want to show everyone! The record player was made from a tutorial from MyFroggyStuff on youtube. If you don't know here and are interested in making cute doll things you should really check her out! Here's a link to the record player: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri6Kg6KmTXQ&t=105s

As for the records I found a template of them on Etsy from Michaelins.

The Peperomia argyreia is also know as the watermelon begonia. It has very beautiful blossoms, totally minimalistic with no petals at all.

I have a real miniature peperomia and I think they'll look cute on a side by side photo ; ).

The leaves are beautiful and I hope I got the look right. What I especially love about the Peperomia are its curved stems, it gives the plant a dancer like aura... : )

Miniature Challenge

I don't often get into the city, so when I had a chance I thought..."hmmm ODC is mini-stuff today and I haven't done a tilt-shift in a long while." So here's a few miniature tilt-shifts from Melbourne.

They don't look any bigger in LARGE view ... but take a look anyways.
