The Concert in the Park is moved indoors for this week. "Company Jump" is an Andrew Sisters Tribute groupand they sounded great (maybe not so great on my minicamera) and had lots of energy.
Kwanon and Vollenda have their personal cookie cutters out and are making gingerbread man cookies ... well, gingerbread "camera" cookies (although they are actually eggnog flavored, but you get the picture). The three cookie shapes of cameras are all baked. Now, it's time to decorate the cookies to look like Kwanon, Vollenda, and their friends!

As many times as she saw it while working on it, Vollenda still loves to watch the photo montage video she produced when it is shown on the big screen at the event. She especially loves to watch and listen to the audience's response, most not knowing she was the one who made it.

Kwanon isn't used to seeing hard lens cases this tall and wide. He could almost live in that space! The curious Camera peered inside, imagining what the giant lens that fits in there must look like. It could crush Kwanon's body!

Kwanon loves watching the small engines of the antique farm equipment at the Sandwich Fair, seeing the intricate details of how they work. Normally engines are enclosed, but this offers an opportunity to photograph the machinery while they are in operation.

What does "Coffee Snob" mean? Vollenda pondered after she was given this mug. Is it just because she likes dark roast whole bean coffee with no sugars nor creamers added to dilute her already strong brew? Or maybe, it's because she has her first cup in the morning over editing the previous day's pictures, in which she will not be bothered to do anything else until her coffee -- and pictures -- are done. Well, if the cup fits, Vollenda, drink it! ;-)

Another close-up of some miniatures--tree frogs and camera. The camera is actually a jump drive. Yes, it is full of noise. An iPhone problem? Gotta love PS6 Content Aware! Used it to move some dust, dog hair, and a couple of objects in the corners.
Vollenda set up her studio lights today to take some portraits. Having not used lighting equipment in awhile, setting up the stands and lights brought back fond memories of working with other photographers setting up similar equipment a few years ago. Those were such wonderful times and great pictures!

Grace wanted to go outside for photo's but it rained, so we stayed inside. blogged here: thejanellewindcollection.typepad.com/craftygirl/2010/03/t...
Kwanon has had a new interest in farming the past year. He visited a farm today and noticed the soybeans planted last week are coming up already. He documented their progress with a photo since he always has a camera with him.

Kwanon was excited to find a pencil holder with his name on it, since he has such a unique name! ;-)

Kwanon is testing out his flash bracket, making sure he can attach the screw properly to his camera base. Like any smart photographer, he tested all his gear today for a big job this weekend to avoid any equipment mishaps.
Maybe it's silly, but Vollenda was happy to pick up her ribbon from her award-winning gallery photo. She has never received a rosette ribbon before, so it's special to her. Competitions like this are a photographer's Olympics. This is Vollenda's bronze medal.
