Kwanon is testing out his flash bracket, making sure he can attach the screw properly to his camera base. Like any smart photographer, he tested all his gear today for a big job this weekend to avoid any equipment mishaps.
Maybe it's silly, but Vollenda was happy to pick up her ribbon from her award-winning gallery photo. She has never received a rosette ribbon before, so it's special to her. Competitions like this are a photographer's Olympics. This is Vollenda's bronze medal.

What else does a photographer paint on a pumpkin other than a camera?

Vollenda used her multimedia skills today editing an audio track. Although not photography, the Camera still relies on her visual sense in completing the task. She watches the changes in waveforms to know when to make the cut.

Although she is sad to see summer go, Vollenda admits she is getting excited about photographing fall colors this season.

Kwanon set down his still photography camera tonight and picked up a clapboard on a movie set. Watching the production crew at work -- the audio person, cameraman -- reminded him of years past when at one point he was actually more involved with video than photography. The director asked Kwanon not to post the picture of the Shot List Kwanon snapped in his Photo of the Day. Being an artist and creator himself, the Camera respects that request.

Kwanon attended a breakfast business meeting this morning to discuss Holiday shopping. He was asked what current trends we can expect in photography this Christmas. A good question for a Camera to consider, indeed.

Vollenda is shopping for new accessories. Not remembering her size offhand, she tried them on first to see if they fit right, but this one is a size too big and not the color she was looking for. The Camera would really like the tungsten style, but the store doesn't have her size in that filter either.

Earlier in the year, Vollenda saw a critique about new photographers, which chastised them for writing their own name when painting with light during long exposures. Vollenda realized that she never wrote her name when she first started those types of shots! After grabbing her big flashlight for yesterday's photo, Vollenda was reminded she wanted to spell her name. Due to available space, Vollenda settled for her first initial (Kwanon gave it a shot also but struggled with drawing a K with the wide indirect light of the device up close to a wall).

While organizing his camera stuff, Kwanon came across an old Polaroid camera he was given. He took a picture and anxiously waited to see if it would develop. The film in the camera is so old it's actual Polaroid brand film and not Impossible Project. A true photographer, Kwanon loves experimenting with vintage photography! #PolaroidForever

Vollenda taking a Selfie with a skeleton? Uh, yeah! This is a photographer worked to the bone yet still holding his camera and smiling there in his Polaroid picture. She couldn't help but bond with him.

It looks like Spam. It smells like Spam. But, is it Spam??? Kwanon should know since there is Spam on his shutter button right now!
