Mini with a seriously big Honda powerplant installed. Shame about the people milling around in the background but I feel the high contrast subject and extreme clarity I've added helps hold focus on the car.
yesterday was cold (not above 0F) and windy - it left these cute little drifts and caves along the western wall (i.e. near the love rock and lonely little tree). I imagine faries live in these caves : )
My freshly washed and waxed 2005 MINI Cooper S (R53) while I was home from college for the weekend.

I helped a friend host a MINI part. All the food was tiny: mini grilled cheese & tiny cups of tomato soup, little smokies in a blanket, tiny hamburgers, mini chocolate cupcakes, tiny ice cream sandwiches. The kids had a great time.

Previous photo of a Mini 311 with a Macbook Pro shown for size comparison generated some hits and a few email questions. Because of the interest I'm posting more of a "macbook vs mini 311" set so people can see how they compare by size. Sizewise the Mini 311 really does stretch the definition of netbook although it still is quite small and portable.

John Cooper, owner of the Cooper Car Company saw the potential for Minis in competition driving and collaborated with Alex Issigonis to produce the Mini Cooper, introduced in 1961. It went on to enjoy a successful rallying career.
Rediscoverd but made quite some time ago. I'd forgotten how much fun these are to make. I experimented with unstuffed arms, legs and ears for this one - not a great success but still cute.
A mini version of Great Wall of China, it probably can't be seen from out space. Nigel in the lead, if you ignore the tog being ahead of the leader.
