This little creature which looked like an extra from Star Wars had gotten tangled up in a spider's web at the back of a rock crevice. Understandably the spider was reluctant to call it dinner leaving it to hang there until we set it free .... although set it loose might be a more apt description.

Identification is still pending. I suspect it's a species of weevil (Curculionidae), possibly Protostrophus.
