Hand pieced with my scraps and hand quilted. My newest journey into prim quilts. this one was the decision to go to my swap mate.
Mini with a seriously big Honda powerplant installed. Shame about the people milling around in the background but I feel the high contrast subject and extreme clarity I've added helps hold focus on the car.
I helped a friend host a MINI part. All the food was tiny: mini grilled cheese & tiny cups of tomato soup, little smokies in a blanket, tiny hamburgers, mini chocolate cupcakes, tiny ice cream sandwiches. The kids had a great time.
This is my first attempt at photographing cars. Not really sure how I feel about it yet. Turned out better then I though it would but I should have used a softbox for more of the composite shots.
It's my friend DJ's Mini S he got off ebay and has been working on for awhile now. It's stage 2 with some obvious work (carbon fiber mirrors, exhaust, etc...). Pretty quick lil thing. I'll be shooting my friend Tommy's STI soon, so this was a good learning experience.
