In just 1.5 cubic metres, this small, mobile, one-piece kitchen contains two hot plates, a refrigerator, a cutting board, electrical outlets for small appliances, and multipurpose storage compartments. Electrically powered, it is made of wood, steel and plastic, and allows one to cook for up to six people. While traditionally the kitchen was a room, Colombo proposed to detach its furniture from the architecture, so it could be moved around to suit flexible, modern living. Originally designed in 1963, the Mini Kitchen entered production in 1964. It is still manufactured today, by the Italian company Boffi.

...a series of dreamlike passages and rooms designed by New York-based architects SO-IL and explore yesterday’s visions of the future – as avant-garde speculations are displayed alongside contemporary objects and new commissions.

...more than 200 objects and experiences to trace the key social and technological aspirations that have driven change in the home. Historical notions of the mechanised home and the compact home are displayed alongside contemporary phenomena such as connected devices and the sharing economy.

Mighty Minis is one of the UK's most popular Mini championships and in 2013 they will join the superb Brands Hatch Mini Festival race schedule. The championship is renowned for attracting novice drivers as they make their first steps on the motorsport ladder. The cars are based around road legal Minis built from 1991-1996 with a few safety and reliabilty modifications. ................. The thrilling Super Mighty Minis are another addition to the race content for the 2013 Brands Hatch Mini Festival. The championship is the bigger brother of the Mighty Minis series catering for more powerful 1.3 litre spec pocket rockets. The championship is designed for drivers with at least a year of competitive racing under their belts.
