This sweet Mini was captured at The Tap Ale House & Restaurant in Mapua (top of the South Island in New Zealand) on 4 January 2012. However as of 2015 the tavern now operates under the name of The Sprig & Fern. This is a MUST VISIT tavern!

Proteq Mini Davis Cup Toernooi succes!
Als hoofdsponsor van het Nederlands Davis Cup Team heeft verzekeraar Proteq het Mini Davis Cup Toernooi voor kinderen georganiseerd. Een leuke tennisdag voor kinderen tot 12 jaar met als doel hen te laten ervaren wat het is om Davis Cup te spelen.
Samen met de tennisbond (KNLTB) en de stichting Right to Play organiseerde Proteq deze dag voor kids in de aanloop naar het officiële Davis Cup duel van Nederland tegen Tsjechie op 22, 23 en 24 september in Leiden. In totaal hebben bijna 100 enthousiaste kinderen alvast ervaring opgedaan hoe het voelt om lid te zijn van het Davis Cup Team.
Op zaterdag 2 september werd het Proteq Mini Davis Cup Toernooi gehouden op de tennisbanen van TV Heerhugowaard en een week later op het tennispark van TC Krimpen. Op het programma stond een heuse tennisclinic, een conditietraining, tennisspelletjes en natuurlijk een wedstrijdje spelen. Iedere deelnemer werd ingedeeld in een team van 4 kinderen waarmee ze een Davis Cup Team vormden. Als team werd zo het volledige programma afgewerkt. Een serieus onderdeel was een video van stichting Right to Play. Hierin werd getoond dat kinderen in de arme landen geen geld of mogelijkheden hebben om te kunnen sporten of spelen terwijl ieder kind daar eigenlijk recht op heeft.
De dag werd afgesloten met een persconferentie met niemand minder dan bondscoach Tjerk Bogtstra. Alle kinderen mochten voor 1 keer journalist spelen en Tjerk het hemd van het lijf vragen. Dat leverde leuke vragen op. Welke speelsterkte moet je hebben om met Davis Cup mee te doen? Hoe goed bent uzelf? Is pasta eten gezond? Gaan we winnen van Tsjechie en hoe word je bondscoach? Tenslotte was er een verloting waarmee kaarten voor Nederland tegen Tsjechie gewonnen konden worden.
Alle deelnemertjes moesten 15 euro inschrijfgeld betalen. De totale opbrengst hiervan is door Proteq aangevuld tot een bedrag van 1500 euro. Deze cheque is aan stichting Right to Play overhandigd.
Van de twee Proteq Mini Davis Cupdagen zijn veel foto’s gemaakt. Kijk hier voor een fraaie fotoreportage. Ook willen we de KNLTB, Right to Play, TV Heerhugowaard, TC Krimpen en natuurlijk alle deelnemertjes bedanken voor twee leuke dagen. In Krimpen zijn opnames gemaakt door het tv-programma Z@pp Sport. Wanneer dat wordt uitgezonden is nog niet bekend.

Mini-Hollywood, the longest established of three theme parks existing in the area. The other two, Western Leone and Texas Hollywood, are still working locations, at least some of the time, but Mini-Hollywood is now entirely given over to the theme-park business. Its heart is a Wild-West set, what one critic calls "your standard Spaghetti-Western town." And most of it is deliciously, authentically false - real, phoney buildings that were actually used in films.
Some of the movies that were shot here are legendary: Sergio Leone's 'Dollars' trilogy ('A Fistful of Dollars', 'For a Few Dollars More' and 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly') starring Clint Eastwood as the Man with No Name, 'Django' with Franco Nero, the sequels to which never seemed to end... over a hundred titles were at least partially filmed in these dusty streets. Almería was also used as a location for other film genres after the sixties (Patton, The Wind and the Lion, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade...) but it was the spaghetti-western that really defined the relationship between the province and the film industry.
