A miniature Lego version of Pixar's "Luxo Jr." desk lamp.

Both lamps have two sets of liftarms in parallelogram shape (diamond shape to be exact), connected with an L-shaped liftarm. So they can "move" almost like the original Luxo Jr. lamp.

When launched in 1961 the mini Pickup was a rather basic affair and optional cost items were a heater, Passenger-side sun visor, seat belts and laminated windscreen amongst others.

Production of the Pickup ended in 1983 by which time over 58,000 had been built.

This nicely preserved & Restored example has had fog lights fitted neatly either side of a period AA Badge. The alloy wheels would not have been standard either. The modern accessories do make for a very attractive car though.

Back in April 1987 I went on a bus hunting adventure which included a visit to Warrington where I photographed Crosville Freight Rover Sherpa / Dormobile B16F MSR775 D775PTU in the Crosville depot sporting the then new green and cream livery with Mini Lynx branding.

I liked this paintwork, seen in St. Pete, and pulled up for a quick phot.

Trying out the mosaic maker with some of my older photos... this is the Mini Sweets set.

I should really try and take pictures of all the sets in a full box for reference... someday..
