A full view of the Mini Pok set. The small red container came from a craft store, and the 50 or so minifig heads were plucked from minifigs in my City, Castle and Pirate sets.
50 minifig heads really isn't that many, though, so I had to build a yellow platform inside the container to give the appearance that it was full. I also used a set of tweezers to position each head individually, which I guess demonstrates either my attention to detail or severe obsessive-compulsiveness. :D
This one is by request.
This mini 'Pirate Ship' was part of my 'Heroica Deluxe' MOC that has been on display a few times, and was featured on the Brothers Brick as well as other places.
Someone asked for instructions. So here they are. Ready to sail the seven seas in search of plunder.

Good things come in small packages and this little ray of sunshine is no exception. New in the YP Garage is a lightly tuned R56 Mini Cooper S, resplendent in Mellow Yellow. Featuring a proper front splitter, boost gauges and sport seats and a dual exhaust out back, this properly fun Cooper has been putting smiles on ALL the faces :).

A total of 429,000 Mk II Minis were produced.
A variety of Mini types were made in Pamplona, Spain, by the Authi company from 1968 onwards, mostly under the Morris name."

BREVE HISTORIA DE AUTHI Y LOS MINI FABRICADOS EN ESPAĂ‘A.
"La sociedad AUTHI S.A.( AutomĂłviles de Turismo Hispano Ingleses S.A.) nace oficialmente el 12 de noviembre de 1966 con un capital de 200 millones de pesetas y estaba formada principalmente por la CompañĂa Nueva Montaña Quijano, firma santanderina de larga tradiciĂłn en España Esta CompañĂa fabricaba desde 1956, muchos elementos y componentes para FASA-RENAULT
Cuando años después FASA-RENAULT, deja de comprar dichos componentes, se pensó pronto en la BMC como la firma con la que fabricar algunos de sus modelos como el MINI y el MORRIS 1.100.
Fueron el MarquĂ©s de Huidobro por la CompañĂa AUTHI y George Harriman por la BMC quienes finalmente firmaron el acuerdo entre ambas CompañĂas.
Se decidiĂł la construcciĂłn de una fábrica en la localidad navarra de LANDABEN cerca de PAMPLONA, en donde inicialmente se construirĂan los MORRIS, los MG, y poco tiempo despuĂ©s los MINI .
En cuanto a la elecciĂłn de NAVARRA, fue por sus peculiaridades fiscales en aquella Ă©poca, además estaba bien comunicada con el PaĂs Vasco, AragĂłn y Cataluña."

Finalmente el Gobierno insta al INI para que vĂa SEAT se haga cargo de la fábrica de LANDABEN. En mayo de 1975, dejan de fabricar restando como Ăşnica actividad la comercializaciĂłn de las unidades del stock. Los coches de AUTHI, están presentes en las listas de precios hasta 1976.
En julio de 1975 se llegó a un acuerdo entre BLMC y SEAT y el precio pagado fue al parecer de 1.250 millones de pesetas. LANDABEN pasa a ser controlada por SEAT, cambiando el equipo gestor e iniciando la fabricación del SEAT –124 (Febrero de 1976)."

This is the how the Soma Mini Velo fender project ends. I ended up finding New Old Stock fenders from the late 50s by a company called McCaulay Metal Products. At first I was kinda iffy on the fold/fin on the front fender. Now I love it. I was originally looking for just a regular fender like a Wald or if SKS made a 20" model in silver. These fenders suit Bubo nicely.
I wanted to see how small I could make it now! The only parts that are not attatched are the 2 cheese slopes on the bottom right and bottom left, and the cheese slopes that would fit in the gaps.
I don't know how this would end up looking with all the cheese slopes placed, since LDD doesn't let me tile cheese. Hopefully it looks alright.
I again had to put extra plates on the bottom left and top right quarters, but this time in the vertical direction, thanks to units fuckery. The back of the flag is a mess, but should hold it all together.
