So after several dense negatives, I decided to drop the developing times by one minute and finally got a lovely sunny day. Sadly I ended up with almost the same results as all the other negatives. There is a slight decrease in grain appearance but nothing too serious.

It starts with a King, and ends with a Queen,
Whom victor and vanquished, in order have been,
From its banks and flanks, were drawn bobbins and skein,
And the meaning of life taks its measure.
Aboon volcanic stopple, where ‘tis but a spittle,
A Thane and Thorn both gave good acquittal,
The mettle of men forged, alloyed and unbrittle,
Wrought forth The Hammer’s displeasure,
Past Windsor o’ Scotland, neath Yew filtered shade,
The gains of the sword, by the quill were unmade,
Proof ink by the nib, trumps blood by the blade
Born a Child, chimeric in nature
South and East, by its course this construct doth bind,
In its catchment, Great riches its Patron did find,
Sake o’ fossil o’ sunlight, it’s worth was enshrined,
For The County’s Dantean Treasure.
By equine engine, it was given birth,
It later consumed, that which gave it worth,
A smelter for spelter and heater of hearth,
The spoils: Toils of labour indentured.
Through neglect and privation, it still made its stand
Mither nature extended a fist not a hand,
The first of its kind and the last in the land,
Born again, forsakes labour for leisure.
The Bard O' Naewhaur.

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92020 (formerly named "Milton") charges through Hartford in the wind and rain as it chases down a 54 minute delay incurred at Watford (due to stock issues) to ensure the Down Highlander (1S25) left Preston on time.
A revised Caledonian Sleeper timetable was in operation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with two trains running in each direction - one to Inverness and Fort William and the other to Edinburgh - meaning no services to Aberdeen or Glasgow Central.
In summary, the uplifted timetable has a Load 14 Highlander serving Inverness (x8) and Fort William (x6) and a Load 8 Lowlander serving Edinburgh only; along with 6 extra coaches being moved as ECS on the Lowlander in each direction twice per week (Southbound Sunday and Wednesday / Northbound Monday and Thursday) to rotate units for maintenance.

We spotted this angle a few weeks back and decided it was worth a punt. I ditched the car, parked up, ran onto the old tramway and got the camera out just as the train passed over. Good job I had envisaged the composition.

There are virtually no changes to the infrastructure Milton crossing box Up Home signal is still a semaphore and appears to be on the same post, the only visible changes are that the telephone poles have gone and the down line on which the trains are travelling over has changed from bull-head to flat-bottom although in both views the up line is flat-bottom. One change which can't be seen is that the bridge the trains are about to pass under has been rebuilt and now has a footpath instead of having to stand on a very narrow country lane to take the photographs although this is only on the bridge and not the whole lane.

Milton Park, PO4 8RA, is located on the corner of Milton Road and Goldsmith Avenue in Portsmouth, it is bordered to the north and west by Priory Crescent and is just over 1 square kilometer in area. This is a multi use park with a children's play area, tennis courts, a bowls club, skate park, grassed areas, planted flower beds as well as many mature trees.
Milton derives it's name from the Saxon, Middletun, meaning middle farm, Milton was halfway between the village of Froddington (Fratton) and the sea at Eastney. In 1808 Middle Farm as it became known was part of the Milton Farm Estate owned by James Goldsmith.
In 1911 James died and the Milton Farm Estate was broken up, at this time the Portsmouth Corporation purchased Middle Farm to redevelop into a public park. The park was laid out and opened in July 1923, one of the original farm buildings, the Thatched Barn, still remains in the park and is now the home of the Portsmouth Players amateur dramatic society.
At the centre of Milton Park is the popular children's play area with a variety of play ground equipment for climbing and swinging on. Adjacent to the play area is the Thatched Barn already mentioned above, this has been extended for use by the Portsmouth Players.
At the western side of the park is the Milton Park Bowling Club which has two bowls greens. The club was formed in 1923 and is now one of the few remaining clubs from this period still in existence in Portsmouth. The club has a very successful history being champions of the Portsmouth & District League in 1930, 1932-1939 and 1961-1965.

The universe itself is God and the universal outpouring of its soul. --Chrysippus (Quoted by Cicero in De Natura Deorum)
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells. --To Autumn. by John Keats

O Nome "Miltonia" tem origem no nome de um orquidófilo inglês: Lord Fitzwilliam Milton. Estas orquídeas ocorrem desde o centro do Brasil até à Argentina.
I had shot with Milton the previous year and was happy to see him again this year, but he was only making a cameo appearance this year. He had brought his dog while he was temporarily around.

Here’s Milton, my Winkie Guard Ken doll that I added Hobby Base wrist joints to. I ended up colouring the ball joints with alcohol ink markers, and while it’s not a perfect match it’s a lot closer than just peachy skin.
I’m really tempted to add some joints to my first one but I’m so dang sentimental. But I’m really happy with how Milton turned out I’m really excited that he can be more expressive now.

The rather spectacular Milton Abbey Church which dates from the mid 14th century (although there was an earlier church on the site dating from 933). Once an actual abbey, this has now been turned into a private school. The shot was taken at the end of a great walk on an evening when the light was quite eerie. I had hoped for a fantastic sunset but it wasn't to be on this night!
