For 11 years on Midsummer starts a hunt in SL called A Midsummer Night's Dream. This year it almost did not happen. Suddenly creators who had joined were calling out to other creators because this hunt was about to be canceled, the event happening in our world had everyone preoccupied and trying to just survive. This call out was urgent because in this time, we need those things that are normal and this hunt is a SL tradition. The gifts range anywhere from 0 to 3L and the hunt itself has many wonderful creators in it. It is a chance to find new ones and be reminded of ones you forgot about. It is a time to see that special item your favorite creator made and get something to enjoy. When Dragonia of Dragon Magick Wares passed me this statue I knew exactly where she should live, in my lavender. I love how the light plays on her wings and the delicate flower crown placed on her head by the Fae that live around her. She will always have a place in my garden because she is so lovely. Make the time and head to Dragon Magick Wares to get your own fairy statue to live in your garden. I wont tell you where to find the hunt object but I will say it is not hard to find if you follow the clue. The hunt runs June 21st to July 21st. maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/New%20Kadath/48/225/21

standing on the borders between herefordshire and worcestershire, one of my favourite places. blasted by incredible winds and short-lived freak blizzards, climbing the malvern hills was wonderful fun this day...
Over hill, over dale,

Ivy: (whispering) How lucky we are to have found this fairy ring of mushrooms.
Rosy: Lindamom said that if we leave the fairies treats they will leave us little gifties. She said if we did not believe her to ask Auntie Katie and Uncle Ian because they have done it and it worked.
Holly: Hush! I see them coming.
I've disappeared again. We just passed midsummer here in Finland, and with the non-stop light it's a great chance to wander around at all sorts of times of the morning.

This build's been sitting on my desk for a while now. I built it for the summer contest on LoB (before the changes)
There really wasn't much of a story, just Brant visiting a midsummer celebration so I'll leave it at that.
暑さのため酸素とブドウ糖が不足した私の脳細胞はこのベンチをアルルのゴッホの部屋の黄色い椅子にすり替えてしまいました。
Due to the heat, my oxygen and glucose deficient brain cells replaced this bench with a yellow chair in Van Gogh's room in Arles.
This weekend we had midsummer celebrations in Sweden and my two daughters dressed up in traditional garlands of midsummerflowers.

It was late evening of the Midsummer Day. I was driving home from a friend and noticed this beautiful fog over the fields. Had to stop my Golf a few times to take photos from different spots.
All around I see girls with the beautiful flower crowns opening the Midsummer event for this weekend. Unfortunately didn't get a picture of this incredible beauty.....but this little pink rose bloomed in the middle of the city, where traffic and people meet.
Roses are truly our love!
