These last two days of our holiday in Stryn have been really beautiful, and our cameras are filled with lots of photos of the stunning landscapes- with mountains, rivers, lakes, fjords, summer flowers and mirror reflections of them all.
This one is from today, on the day we celebrate midsummer/Saint John's Eve in Norway. We will only have a little celebration for two- with traditional grilling and snack, and maybe watch a local bonfire.
My album of portraits and people here.

And just like a midsummer nights breeze, she ran away, into the moonlight, a fox, proud and strong. The lone wolf walked away, saddened she was gone.

• Sunlight lingers, soft and wide,
Painting gold the fjordside tide.
Mountains blush in twilight's gleam,
As night becomes a silver dream.
Birch trees whisper, skies stay pale,
Stars held back by daylight’s veil.
Laughter dances on the breeze,
Among the bonfires, hills, and trees.
Here, where dark once held its reign,
Midsummer sings in light’s domain.

Mornings in this city seem late. The deserted Inokashira Street was filled with digital signages
that projected the midsummer scenery.
Swan in Gentofte lake, bonfire in the background. On the eve of the 23rd of June, bonfires light up Denmark in celebration of midsummer. Heavy rainfall earlier today resulted in some difficulties lighting the fire!

They say that baby unicorns often play in the garden during Midsummer week...so I went out early to look, and, sure enough, I found one!
She whispered to me in her shy little voice that her name was Princess Lyra!
I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday and perhaps you'll see a baby unicorn too if you look just right.....

Thursday walk with Utata
I thought of bonfires, village fêtes and di Paolo's painting of the birth of John the Baptist, but my camera reminds me this is what I saw.

Hey everyone! Here is a quick post with a shot from midsummer and beautiful lake Finland. The evening was warm and I saw the clouds rolling in just before the wind calmed down.
For this I used a 0.9 hard GND and some blending. Have a nice weekend! :)
