The shopping centre isn't as busy as some might expect - lots and lots of available spaces on the top floor of the Midsummer Place car park. A good crowd at the hammerhead turn at the top of Midsummer Boulevard.

This picture is manipulted to look like a dreamworld. It was from the beginning tow pictures, one of the meadow and one of the sky (to get the right light). The gap between the pictures are coverd up by unsharpness and get it look like fog. A result of this is that the picture look mythical.
Perhaps it is a too obvious gap between where the "fog" start and end, pleas tell me if.
On Saturday 23rd June 2012 it was Chesters yearly "Midsummer Watch Parade".
Chester's Midsummer Watch is one of Britain's oldest festivals - a tradition reflecting 500 years of the city's history. They rely on the continued support and involvement of local people to keep this exciting Parade alive, as a major mid-summer spectacle. For more information about the parade see the web site here:
Sadie Lockhart (Hermia) and Patrick A. Jackson (Lysander) star as two of the four lovers lost in the woods in Jobsite's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
This is the unique Midsummer Pole in Sorunda. It is very different from any midsummer pole I have ever seen. On my visit the woman in the background, Maria Landin was giving a speech about that subject, unfortunately I missed much of what she said as I arrived half way through her speech and I then walked around taking photos. On the other hand I did talk to her later and I took her photo for the 100 Strangers Project, so I can always get in touch with her and get that info.

Haley Janeda (Titania) and Adam Workman (Oberon) star as the feuding Fairy Queen in Jobsite's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
There was a lot of traditional Midsummer dancing in the park in Jordbro so not a bad idea to bring a very Swedish chair to the festivities. More Midsummer snaps to come.
