I sit and ponder the moon and relate to how it shines so bright time to time yet other nights no where to be seen. Everyone sees the face but no one sees the back, the secrets of the moon. The moon is constant a moving faithful orb never ceasing in clicking off each phase as clock work. I recently did a project that proved the moonlight is couple degrees colder than the moon shadows, so the old saying in the cool light of the moon is true.

with flowers of the season. a mini-Midsummer pole and a small Dala horse - it'll do for celebrating a Swedish Midsummer Eve this year here on the other side of the big puddle. :-)

Trying out a regular color negative film with my trusty Canon AE-1 for the first time in a while. I wanted to check out the Cinestill 50D daylight balanced film. The shots came out quite blue, at least in the scans I made, but there is a lot to get out of the exposures!

Een nieuwe roos werd deze namiddag gedoopt bij rozenkweker Casteels in Putte bij Mechelen. De doopmeter was de gouverneur van de provincie Antwerpen, Cathy Berx.

De teler van de nieuwe variëteit is Martin Vissers.

Sunset in Barsebäckshamn. A perfekt Swedish summer night at 11.30 Pm. 25 degrees celcius, no wind and no mosquitos. Could not be a better night!

this is taken a few days before midsummers night at 2.30am. the nights are as light as the days here in Lapland at this time of the year. A very magical experience.
