The old church has had a paint job recently and is looking quite nice. A few years ago part of the roof needed nailing down and we helped out.

Growing up in Auckland and then being lucky enough to stay with our nana and uncle here as kids, during the Holidays, was awesome. And the church; has always been there.

Thanks for your visit and support. Have a great day! :)

Fading blue whitewash on a lava stone doorstep.

This pendant is part of a series of MiddleEarth's photo pendants. Bewitched by the magical details from my middleearth surroundings, the Azore Islands, I create MiddleEarth's jewels. Be it the captivating scenery, the winding lava stone walls, or the way the moss ..and time..consumes the ancient stones and trees.

approx.1 1/2 " pendant with a handpainted, distressed, natural lava stone ball and oxidized sterling silver bail

26" grey silk cord coupled with a black deerskin lace for a 27 1/2" (52cm) total length.

Original photo taken by me 'in situ'.
