Titleist Japan introduces their all new titleist vg3 irons for the Japanese market. The Japanese Market Titleist VG3 Irons are aimed at the average golfer and improving mid capper. The strong lofts (24* 5 iron) matched with low CG in the form of tungsten weights in the sole create a higher launch and more MOI. Tthe VG3 features variable placement for the tungsten weights on the sole depending on the iron just like on the driver. The different weight placement varies the launch between different irons depending on that iron. For example the longer irons 4 and 5 feature weighting on both the toe and heel of the sole increasing MOI and distance off center shots. This makes hitting the long irons easier and increases distance. On the 6 and 7 irons, the weighting is placed more towards the center of the sole to increase launch and lower CG.
