Finally got some time to take a better quality picture of my ACR, conveniently the day after my new Cadex rails came in the mail. I'll be ordering a vfg soon, and swapping out my high-caps for some new mid-caps. The whole rifle will also be getting Cerakoted this summer to get rid of that funky two-tone tan coloring (the color matching isn't nearly as bad as it appears in pictures, but it still bothers me)

A Combat Controller manoeuvres an All Terrain Vehicle through the desolate terrain of Bradshaw Bombing Range.

The Combat Controller was one of five highly specialised Combat Controllers who were inserted into the range by a Royal New Zealand C-130 Hercules during Exercise Pitch Black 2010.

Mid cap: The Royal New Zealand C-130 Hercules conducted a tactical mission under 'enemy' fire to insert a team of Special Tactics Combat Controllers into the Bradshaw Bombing Range to conduct tactical landing zone reconnaissance and terminal attack control in support of Exercise Pitch Black.

Combat Controllers are highly specialised and deploy with the special forces into Afghanistan. Exercises such as Pitch Black provides the controllers with vital training to prepare for operational deployments.

Combat Controllers undertake advanced infantry training, special forces entry testing, special operations basic course and commando selection and training.

My airsoft gun, if it had a cooler red dot sight and differently branded receiver. Everything else is as it appears on my actual rifle.

It started its life about four years ago as a Classic Army M15 CQB (before the SEALS models were introduced.) Over the course of two years, I made a series of purchases and trades that made this gun what it is.

The mods include a sanded and polished SEALS edition shorty barrel paired with an ICS freefloat railed foregrip, an ergo grip, polished mid-cap metal VN magazines, a rounded aftermarket trigger guard and a polished forward assist and stock tube.

On the actual gun, the red dot is the $30 barrel from walmart (gets the job done) and the receiver is the stock armalite-branded one. all else is accurate, even the rail covers.

Having the original internals before CA started sucking, this little monster gets 18 rounds per second at 360-375 FPS. A systema tightbore is hidden in the outer barrel.

This is the final incarnation of the gun- but i have sooooo much other crap for it it hurts my wallet to think about hahahahaha. ill get a picture of the actual gun up soon.

This is the airsoft rendition of the famous AK-74. The rifle is constructed of Metal, wood, and one plastic part, the pistol grip. The rifle retails for $235, and has an fps of about 400. This rifle uses a 9.6v 1600 mAh stick type battery. it also has pneumatic blowback. This is my primary rifle for outdoors especially if I'm using my VDV loadout. This rifle has a select fire choice of safe, semi-automatic, and full automatic. Oh and I know those are AK mags, not the 74 bakelite, my local store was out of the bakelite mid-caps and all they had were hi-caps and I'm a mil-sim player so I prefer midcaps, but hey they work fine and I might end up getting an AK47 some day...

What is Mission: Victoria Citadel?

2 sides will battle it out to dominate 11 spawn points. This is a domination game with a Citadel in the middle of the field, which has 2 flags nearby. Because these 2 flags are so close, it will make for some very interesting firefights and a constant change in the game. This game is set to start at around 6:00 (it will be light out) and should run until about 11PM (it will be very dark) so get ready for some crazy gameplay as both sides fight it out at Mission: Victoria Citadel

Where: GK Training Grounds at Quail Run

Cost: Registration is closed for this mission. $13 at the door if you don't register.

Rules & Regulations:

- A Waiver of liability must be signed by all players prior to entering the playing field. For players under the age of 18, A Parent or Legal Guardian must sign for the underage player. They are available to fill out at Fox Airsoft or you can PRINT THIS LIABILITY WAIVER

- Full Seal Goggles must be worn at all times during Gameplay. This is to keep everyone safe from any eye injuries. Safety Glasses do not provide enough protection because a BB can get in behind them and cause injury.

- BIODEGRADABLE BB's are required. No exceptions. Any players caught playing without BIO BB’s will be required to leave without a refund. The reason we do this is is because the land owner won't let us play airsoft if we litter PVC bb's everywhere. He may also increase the cost to use the field. So to keep the cost as low as possible, we require BIO BB's. Thanks.

- This is a NIGHT Mission so we encourage you to bring a flashlight and/or headlamp. It is also STRONGLY encouraged, that you bring a RED glow stick as a dead rag. If you do not have one of these, you will often times get shot when you are walking back to respawn. We would also love it if you would use tracer units to make the mission more cinematic and fun.

- FPS Limits are as follows - (AEG:400) (DMR:450) (Sniper:550) with a .20 gram BB. We will be playing under an honor system. If players think that your gun is shooting too fast, game staff will Speed Check you and if you’re shooting too fast, you MAY be asked to leave without a refund.

- Rules of Engagement - (AEG’s - No fully automatic shooting within 50ft.)

(DMR’s: No shooting within 50 ft.) (Snipers: No shooting within 75 ft.)

- CALL ALL OF YOUR HITS - Airsoft is a sport of honor and those who play dishonorably will not necessarily be forced to leave but they most likely won’t be invited back.

- DO NOT CALL OTHER PEOPLE"S HITS - If the people that you are shooting are not calling their hits, then we encourage you to shoot more BB’s and aim for skin but don’t yell something like “OH COME ON! I TOTALLY GOT YOU! YOU’RE A CHEATER!” Just play the game.

- Up to 1 Hi-Cap magazine may be used as a magazine after all available Mid-Cap magazines have been used up. If your Mid-Cap mags are jamming (which does happen sometimes) then you may use your single Hi-Cap as your primary magazine. You will however be forced to play with just that one mag and any extra BB’s that you can carry. You are not allowed to carry more than 1 single Hi-Cap mag at all. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Missions are a new level of competitive Airsoft in Colorado. While this is not a weekly pick up game, nor is it a full blown Operation, Missions are much larger scale game with lots of organization. Mission’s are objective based games that run for a long period of time without breaks and never last more than a day. These Missions will have a cost of up to $20 depending on the Mission and may have raffles and door prizes.

What is Mission: Hades Crossing?

Rebel forces crossed territory lines and shot down a NATO surveillance helicopter. The rebels are searching for the downed pilot but it won’t be long before some reinforcements are deployed to get whatever was on that helicopter. Mission: Hades Crossing is Sponsored by Fox Airsoft & Airsoft Colorado

Be a part of 2 sides battling it out as a rescue team makes their way across the scenario.

Be a part of Mission: Hades Crossing

A special thanks goes out to all of those who came out for Mission: Hades Crossing!

Here's some of what happened.

2 Teams were sent this Hades Crossing Insertion Team Briefing Video but they couldn't make it with the short notice. We managed to split teams up and get things rolling.

The insertion team managed to plant all 5 charges on the bridges within about 40 minutes of starting the game. Rebel forces held them pinned down for a while until the Rebels were forced back. The insertion team captured the munitions depot against heavy resistance. The Rebel forces put up an insane fight as the insertion team made slow pushes up the field until they came close to the Outpost. The Insertion Team casualties were high as they took over the Towers for a short while. Once the insertion team got a hold of the towers, they split into two teams to plant the C4 charge on the Missile Site and to attempt to recover the Helicopter's Black Box and the Downed Pilot. A 2 man Team split off of the main group and managed to sneak past Rebel defenses and plant the charge and also recover the black box. The pilot was captured by the Rebels while the insertion Team was uploading the contents of the black box. Overall, the Insertion Team managed to complete 5 of 7 Objectives. The Rebels managed to complete their primary objective of capturing the pilot and preventing the Insertion Team from an Evac.

Yup! I just got it in the mail finally! It is obivoulsy based off a AK-47. I won't explain it too much because there is alot to say. Anyways I got it on Toronto Airsoft ( torontoairsoft.com/product.php?id_product=626 ) for $160 normal price is $230 but it was on sale. It shoots up to 330 FPS and can go as far as 150 feet. The plastic on the gun is the clear plastic and MOC wood. The MOC is actually really nice with real grain feeling. All black on this gun is full metal! :D The magazine it comes with is wobbly which causes miss feeds so you have to tape the top to make it work better. It has Safe, Semi and Full Auto features. I bought the brown magazine on the website for $15. It said it was a Mid-Cap but it is actually a High-Cap, it fits really tight in the gun which is really good. The other one I got from my Military store that is sadly closing down to move to the one in Lagnley. I was able to bring the price down from $24 to $15 :D Put the pin on the lip of the Magazine is sticking out so we need to get it fixed, I already tried to get it back in but nothing. Anyways it also came with some other crap that all AEGs get. This is good enough for CQB so I am going to research on game areas that I can can play in. I know it's not the best but it sure beats the last AEG I got!

Ok so i back ordered my Other M4 because it was going to take 5 more weeks of waiting ( i have been waiting for 5 weeks now )

So i ordered this '' the most realistic M4 airsoft on the market, Many people say''

So it's gonna be pretty awesome :D Total Cost $ 355

It has a bit more plastic parts inside, but that will be easy to fix with some tune kits :)

Kalash AEGs are normally thought to only be able to use Kalash/D-Boyi magazines. But, I have successfully used MAG brand magazines without modification.

It appears that the cheaper, softer plastic used by MAG 'wears in', and the mags eventually just clicks into place.

This photo shows the MAG Bakalite AK74 magazine fitted. I have used the MAG mid-caps on both this Kalash AKS74U and their AK74M.

Milgeek - Kalash (D-Boys) full metal AK74U Сучка review

I happen to have the VFC tactical hand grip for their AKS74U, I bought it to try it out on my DBoy Kalash 74U but there is a slight dimensional incompatibility so it ended up in the back of a cupboard. Well, now I have a VFC '74U I thought I would give it an outing, just to see what the kit would look like.

This format isn't really my usual taste, I much prefer the VFC '74U in it's natural state. But I would be tempted to give this an outing if I do eventually get that STALKER loadout I have always wanted put together.

The fantastic Russian M23 'Pioneer' rig. This is a very comfortable and very well made chest rig.

This has proven to be my favourite and most practical load carrying rig in my collection. It has enough pockets - including a spacious built in admin pocket - for all I need to carry.

The four double AK pouches are ideal for a Milsim 'mid-cap' game - or if I am playing with hi-caps I fill the spare mag pouches with bottles of water.

ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher speaks during a European Investment Bank (EIB) event in the context of CM25. The EIB has announced plans for a space lending facility, which is designed to improve access to debt financing for space businesses at the small- to medium-enterprise or mid-cap scale. EIB Vice President Robert de Groot presented the plan in the presence of European Commissioner Andrius Kubilius, the ESA Director General, and ESA Director of Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness, Géraldine Naja.

Weekly wrap: Sensex gains 1.5%, broader markets rule the roost

BSE small-cap and mid-cap indices spiked between 3.4-3.5 percent, significantly outperforming the benchmarks' 1.5-1.7 percent bump.

Q1 GDP numbers released late Friday last week boosted benchmark stock indices to historically high levels on Monday. A European style stimulus is also on the cards, declared ECB President Mario Draghi on Thursday. The move can prove beneficial to emerging markets such as India, point out analysts. Both Sensex and Nifty surged between 1.5 percent and 1.7percent, rising in 3 out of 5 trading sessions this week. Broader markets witnessed major action this week; BSE small-cap and mid-cap indices spiked 3.4-3.5 percent, significantly outperforming the benchmarks' 1.5-1.7 percent bump. From the mid-cap space, Gammon India, Shalimar Paints, HFCL swelled 31-32 percent; Suven Life, MTNL , UPL and Apollo Tyres shot up between 17 percent and 27 percent. Among blue-chips, NMDC, Bharti Airtel and Cipla were gained 8.4-9.6 percent; Hero MotoCorp , L&T, UltraTech ,Tech Mahindra, Grasim and Axis Bank surged between 4 percent and 6 percent. According to Vibhav Kapoor, Group Chief Investment Officer, IL&FS, Nifty could touch 9000 by March. Kapoor said global equities appear comfortable and a potential hike in interest rates by US Federal Reserve would not affect liquidity flows to emerging market. The week hummed with a 'NaMo' chant after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit to Japan managed to secure a commitment from Japan to invest USD 35 billion in private and public investments in India over the next five years. The week also saw the deferral of SC judgment on the fate of coal blocks allocation to September 9. Last week, SC had held the allocation of coal blocks since 1993 was illegal. The move caused jitters in the power & mining stocks.

A Combat Controller from No. 4 Squadron at RAAF Williamtown, NSW on an All Terrain Vehicle, leaves the cargo area of a C-130 Hercules. Combat Controllers will perform airfield reconnaissance in the desolate terrain of Bradshaw Bombing Range, Northern Territory.

It's time for some Old School guns from back in the day of WWII. This D-Day beauty from King Arms is a 1/1 scale of the real Thompson and comes complete with a humber of sexy features. This fresh looking imitation wood that can house a large 8.4 volt battery so you can stay in the game for a long time. There are a number of WWII guns that are on the market that make for some very cool scenarios from the 30's and 40's. Some of the other great products like this one are the ICS M1 Garand and also the BAR. It shoots right around 400 FPS out of the box, comes with a full metal body, ABS Wood Fore grip and Stock (That's where the battery is housed.) The M1A1 has a rather unique selector switch. It is actually 2 selector switches. One of the switches is a switch between "Safe" and "Fire" while the other is for selecting between "Semi" and "Full Auto". It's a little bit different than what most of us are used to but it is just as effective none the less. What spare mags should I buy? Tokyo Marui or Cybergun? - "Cybergun / CYMA High caps (420) or King Arms Mid Caps (60)" Product Link: In stores, soon to be at bit.ly/IxoR6K Like Fox? #1: AFFORDABILITY VS LUXURY

One of the major differences between the residential properties in Kelambakkam and Thiruporur is their luxury quotient. Kelambakkam was developed as a settlement for employees from the nearby IT Parks. And Kelambakkam properties are known for their affordability. The properties in this part of Chennai belong to the mid-cap level. So, they are friendly for your pockets. But not everyone is satisfied with a mediocre life, they want more. So, the answer lies in the properties that have been developed in Thiruporur, which is a neighbor of Kelambakkam. Thiruporur properties were developed to meet the needs of home buyers wanting a bit of luxury and extravagance in their homes. If you want a grand place to call your home, then Thiruporur is your ideal destination.

The townships of Thiruporur were developed with a single goal in mind: to support the lifestyle of the residents who own a luxurious apartment. So, malls and high-end shopping areas are fast developing in Thiruporur. Apart from this, there are renowned schools and medical facilities also available in this suburb. Of course, the residents from Thiruporur can visit Kelambakkam for saving some bucks on their shopping. Kelambakkam, in contrast, supports the affordable lifestyle with its markets and shopping areas. Of course, Kelambakkam also has great educational and health infrastructure, but Thiruporur in many ways has better facilities.

#3: EASE OF COMMUTING

The major IT Parks, housing some of the IT giants, are only a short drive away from the residential properties of Thiruporur. With the OMR, GST (Grand South Trunk) and ECR (East Coast Road) located in close proximity the professionals can breeze to their place of work from their home in Thiruporur. Some of them would aid the residents to reach other important places in Chennai within shortest times. Apart from this, the residential areas of Thiruporur are also close to Chennai Airport, railway station and bus terminus. In this regards, Thiruporur and Kelambakkam are equal. #4: APPRECIATION IN PROPERTY RATES

Investing in a Thiruporur property is safe in that regard. A close look at the property trends for Thiruporur and Kelambakkam definitely gives a lot of insights. While the properties in Kelambakkam have appreciated at a rate of 2-3% in the last 3 years, Thiruporur properties on the other hand have shown an appreciation rate of 4-5%. It is definitely a deal that most real estate investors would definitely say ?Yes? to!

#5: RESELLING SCOPES

Understanding the resell value and scopes is always important before you invest in a new home. Thiruporur and Kelambakkam are relatively new residential areas whose demands have not yet touched their prime. But Thiruporur has already established itself as an area meant for the sophisticated and luxurious minded homeowners. And going by the real estate buzz, Thiruporur?s popularity as a residential area would further escalate in the future when many government projects ongoing in the area are completed. As evident from the earlier section, the appreciation of property prices will remain high in the next many years. And there might be a time when the properties in Thiruporur become a quick recipe to make high resale profits.

#6: THE RENTAL SCENARIO

Phase II of the IT corridor along the OMR is presently being erected. Once this project is complete, many more famed IT companies will set up their bases in the nearby area. And the employees in these new companies would always need good residential spaces. As a result, the demand for rental properties in Thiruporur will only increase. Presently the rental rates in Thiruporur, for 2 BHK spacious apartments, are hovering between INR 6,000-11,000, depending on their localities. Within a few years, these rates would appreciate considerably providing today?s home buyers a lucrative monthly earning opportunity.

Thiruporur might not be the most happening place near Chennai, but it offers many essential things needed for a good quality of life. As a first, Thiruporur is less crowded and noisy than the main Chennai metropolitan area. So, you can enjoy a bit of seclusion while staying at stone?s throw distance from all the action. Secondly, without too many industries and relatively less population, the pollution levels in Thiruporur are still under control. This is again a vital facet when you are looking to give your kids a healthy start to their life. Apart from this, all the vital facilities (as mentioned before) are already available in Thiruporur.

For optics I use a red dot holo sight, and G&G iron sights as backups (donated by my friend Enzer0).

Other attachments include a polymer torch/laser grips with a mini mag-lite torch, which I'll use for night ops.

I'm currently waiting on a foregrip as well as rails to mount it on. When that arrives I'll be able to finally call my gun complete in terms of it customization.
