the rear view of a contemporary looking row of townhouses. Complete with railway at the end of the garden.

The front view is here and, I'm afraid, I'll upload lots more pics in the next few days ...

Here's another one of those Micro builds I've had around for years and now want to pull apart because I'm bored with them!

This is The Kollective Kommie Kombines' Peoples' Combined Harvester. It doesn't work very well, a bit like communism.

A small, swift missile frigate used by the Galactic Armada for taking down capital ships. While it does have devastating firepower its fatal flaw is its lack of weapons against fast smaller ships like starfighters. You never know when a bold starfighter pilot could send a proton torpedo down this ship's exhaust port...

Not really satisfied with the back end. Oh well.

Just wanted to upload this before I leave on my trip. Bye.

For personal reasons, I haven't built that many MOCs this year. I hope to be more active next year. Happy New Year 2025!

While automated cargo ships and FTL travel are the backbone of the galaxy's economy now, they wouldn't be possible without thousands of survey spacecraft rigorously scanning almost every known part of it. The development of Lane 6 and divisions, which currently carry upwards of 45% of galactic shipping, was the largest peaceful operation in history and the data that the original surveyors generated is still widely used, dozens of cycles later.

The craft shown is a Drenner E-31S, one of the most widely used craft.

A row of contemporary terraced houses. This is the street view but those of you who have seen the WIP progressing know that there is something at the back as well ...

hope you like it.

Loosely modeled on a Liebherr crane I saw on the way to work the other day. I make no claims to accuracy though.

A microscale modernist family home of my own design, with influences from various mid 20th Century architects.

Almost every kid dreams about treehouse so I had to build one :D ...

Built for a micropolis module, it will likely see some revisions.

Used by many organizations, the RF-6's engine was made for ships many times larger. Astral Dynamics, known mostly for its military and exploration ships, took a risk with a light and extremely powerful cargo ship during a troubling financial time. This risk did pay off, though and variants can be seen from the most downtrodden industrial centers to the most luxurious casinos.

Boxes (or cases) stacked asymmetrically on top of each other form this modern house. At the same time it´s an angle case study.

They are subtle and quick to anger.

Designed primarily to fulfill a low-orbit "Wild Weasel" role, the Zephyr is fast enough to outrun the most advanced targeting systems, while simultaneously tracking anti-air gun emplacements and marking them for termination.

(Thanks for the views, comments/suggestions/criticisms encouraged!)

The rate of progress has slowed somewhat now that most of what I have left to do is detail work and closing up odd gaps left by the triangular geometry. The big update is that I have mostly covered the front now, though there is an awkward triangular gap in the very centre of the front I am left to resolve. It is tempting to just cram it with antenna etc but I don’t think that would really suit the overall aesthetic. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

My 9 year old son created this. My only involvement was to suggest a bridge for it.

This was like the second LEGO set that my father got in early 80s :)

My entry for the Bricklink Holiday MOC challenge. Total 41 pieces.

A snow fall microscale scenery for the Winter 2015 Brickenburg contest.

Winner of the first prize.

I do not know when and why I built it, but I decided that it is good enough to put it on public display.

Loosely modeled on a Liebherr crane I saw on the way to work the other day. Obviously the real thing has a much longer boom.

This was a build challenge requiring a the front facade of a building set on the ruins of some older structure, guarded, with an animal and two civilians.

To that end, I have added a doomsday device and a giraffe.

"This is Horatius-Six. The bridge is secure. The Etruscans shall not pass."

[Built for my IronBuilder matchup with Pascal]

I am painfully aware that I haven't posted anything in nearly a year. Been busy with builds, but too damn lazy to set up my photography area. These should do for now...

A friend gave me one of these little pull-back chassis; so, I felt obliged to build something cool upon it. Wanted to incorporate some recent parts too.

So, yeah, there's bonus content--it rips like hell across the floor!

Seeing a need for a ship that could be shown continuously exploding for dramatic effect, the Expendable class packs surprising versatility for such a small vessel. Three turreted hand cannons provide close-in fighter defense while four torpedo tubes provide for some punch against more heavily armored and main character filled ships. The Expendable mounts one LG-79C as its main gun/anti-mecha-warfare mobile armor.

Armament:

3 x hand cannons

4 x half pin torpedoes

Strike Craft:

1 x small mech mount (LG-79C Box standard)

As always, 1 stud = 5 meters

I shared this a couple years back, before flickr granted unlimited uploads to all users. Enjoy, again.

They're getting married to preserve an important treaty or something. Don't be too surprised if one of them ends up dead.

This is one of my contributions to InnovaLUG's latest collaborative build, Space Spheres. See more in this blog post on the InnovaLUG website.

vaguely in the style of the LEGO Architecture sets. Vaguely. As used for the shadow pictures. Go on, I know you're curious to see the shadow pictures ...

It's all in the title.

Just a quick build. Heavily inspired by Marco Marozzi's mech foot concept:
