Here's a trio of assorted military craft in my first attempt at micro-scale. I don't normally even like this style all that much, but I had an assortment of new pieces and I felt like trying something new.
Got a new lens for Christmas. The Nikon AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f2.8G ED. It is wicked sharp. I have learned, however, that some things aren't meant to be photographed that close up. :)
The only ship not to complete the cruise, 'Ducky' was saved from the canal, hmm. strange that for a duck, when the bilges started to take on water threatening the electrickery
Trip to MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) to see the Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling Exhibit.
I was heading for dinner, when I stopped at the Devils Punch Bowl (Stoney Creek) to watch this storm travel from Guelph through to Burlington and Oakville. It was very condensed and had a very slow swirling in the middle region of the clouds. It seemed to be too low for it to turn in to a funnel...
With the way the weather has been lately, I wouldn't be surprised if it did turn in to a funnel!
It eventually went out over the lake, at which point I left for dinner.
It was very interesting to watch.
