The micro fluff is the newest (and smallest!) member of the Pocket Fluff family!
This little one is about 1 inch tall and 1.5 inches wide.
He's made of an orange faux fur.
His face was hand painted by me using artist quality acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.
Pocket Fluffs are able to stand on their own. :)

"Subterranea Mancunia"

The showcase for the Micro Commission Digital project took place on Friday 12 Sept 2014 in the Cornerhouse Annexe.
Subterranea Mancunia is an interactive experience for 2-4 people. Participants entered The Department and immersed themselves in an alternate Manchester. THE DEPARTMENT FOR SUBTERRANEAN STUDIES invited participants to tour its offices and archives, recently opened to the public. They saw once-secret apparatus, perused mysterious documents, and tested their wits against intriguing puzzles. The curious wonders and dangers that lie below the surface were exposed to the light of day.
I decided to start learning to build a bit more elaborately with some thought and planning and more advanced brick connections. The tiny side windows were a trick I devised that I later learned others also solved this kind of thing long before I did! I wanted to accomplish a reasonably interesting scene with some modular features (the middle portion slides out).

So for Christmas one of the gifts for the kids was the Police set. Included in the set was a police station, Police car, Police K-9 van and a Police Motorcycle. Not included was one single firearm. This is the solution. Thank you Brickarms.
Project - THEATRE
"One Night Only"

The showcase for the Micro Commission Theatre project took place on Sunday 5 October 2014 in the Cornerhouse Annexe.
One Night Only (written by Daniel Doggett) revolves around the theme of escapism, with the narrative following two very different men who both happen to be having a really hard time of it. Over the space of one weekend, the two of them share more with each other than they have with anybody else in their entire lives. They reveal their most intimate thoughts and secrets. It seems unrealistic that two strangers would be so open with each other, but that’s the point. After this short time they’ll never see each other again, so this weekend is just a time to escape the difficulties they’re each facing in their lives. The performance starred two local actors and was directed by a local director.

This moth is extremely small with a wing span that is probably less than 1/2". It was photographed in North Augusta, SC near a deciduous forest.
If someone can help ID this one, then you are a moth expert. ID help appreciated.

Eee PC 900のSDスロットにはダミーが入っていて、でもダミーはあまり意味が無いのでダミーの変わりに空のMicro SD Apapter（Micro SDが入っていない状態）を入れたのだけど ... システムが起動しなくなりました。
最初はその事に気がつかなくて、気も動転していたのでショップに戻って良品交換しようと思って出かけた途中、もしやと思ってMicro SD Apapterを抜いてみてビンゴ。

Another hobby of mine is making case for electronic devices.
Of course I have to make a case for my micro journal. I made a lot of sketches from a case like a luggage or a simple drawstring bag.
But when I go out I also need to bring a wallet, an umbrella, a tumbler etc., in the end I would rather bring a backpack and put the micro journal inside my backpack.
I don’t want a case that takes a lot of space in my bag, ideally I want the case fit perfectly. But I knew myself, this time I will love the MOA keycaps, next time I might use a low profile keycaps, and the other time I might don’t want to wear the shed.
So I make a simple wrapper, kinda like a diaper LOL. I added some padding although it’s clearly it’s not really protect the micro journal from impact or drop, as i left the sides exposed. I can add some fabric to cover it but I am not a pattern maker. Making a slanted size is difficult.
And again.. different keycaps changes the measurement. So at least when it is inside my bag, the keyboard and the screen are protected.
Next time I will try making a knitting version, I think it would be easier to make the slanted sides
Checking out the photostream of a stranger gave me an idea. She had posted two photos of Christmas decorations, using her macro lens. A jingle bell. A cookie. The photos were mixed in with her other work, and not identified as such, but they made me ask: What about posting macro shots of objects associated with this season?
So, here are my first submissions! Between now and Christmas, I will post occasional photos under the heading of "Micro Christmas." Let's look at the details!
