This day-flying moth (Nannobotys commortalis) is not much larger than a rice grain, and almost invisible when roosting on sand. But as with a lot of cryptic species, up close its pattern and coloration are anything but drab. I've found several of these in the Mojave Desert this spring.
The last of my micro-scale ships: for the moment at least!
On the left is a relay beacon. These ships were a common sight on the western belt of the galaxy, where navigation infrastructure was less developed.
On the right is a mega-tanker, used for bulk shipping of fuels across the galactic disc.
This little "stand" of fungi possibly belong to the Coprinellus genus.

3-2-1 Lets Jam!
This is one of my favorite builds I have ever made. About a year ago I read the Harry Potter series for the first time and I knew right away that I wanted to build Hogwarts. I had remembered seeing this amazing model by Kit Bricksto and had wanted my own. So fully inspired, I created this.
I took extra care to make my model as accurate as possible at this scale. I referenced multiple different maps, charts and drawings. I then plotted the design and placement of the buildings and towers on graph paper, something I hadn't done before.

This started as a tablescrap and I ended up really liking it. It's not a very unique design, but I enjoy the colours a lot, in particular the sand blue brick. The wings also close flush, which is a fun extra detail.
My fifth build for my Iron Builder battle with onosendai2600(Andrew).
Special part is some sort of micro ball join combo

This micro (macro) photo is of a baby Serrano pepper that is just a tad over half an inch long, and the droplet of water on it is smaller than a match head! Reflected in the droplet is a window in our house.
I think this is the most cheerful set of all high street sets. Nice shops with many play options.
Not only did I make the building in micro format, but I also reduced the interior and street details to micro format so that you can really play with it again on a small scala.

Another micro (macro) photograph of chain links. The width of a link is 1/8" in diameter.
Click on the photo to view larger. This is a chain that was never exposed to the elements...the micro photo reveals the bits of damage, rust, etc., that are not really visible to the naked eye.
