For some reason, it hadn't occurred to me to shoot video with my FZ50 and Raynox 250 macro lens attached. This was my first try at bug cinema. Not edge-of-seat fascinating unless, of course, you're another bug. But I thought I'd upload it for posterity until that time when I create some more captivating Raynox vids.
Anyone know this particular insect? Possibly a hoverfly -- Melanostoma scalare I like the pollen covered face and legs.

Project - FILM
"The Minotaur"
By Jess Mone
The showcase for the Micro Commission Film project took place on Sunday 5 October 2014 in the Cornerhouse Annexe.
The Minotaur is a short thriller/drama based on a short story that Jess wrote. The film features Delilah, a young girl trapped in a maze, a maze that is endlessly narrow and dark. She isn't aware of time passing, she never needs to eat or sleep. But she is running. There is something else inside the maze with her, something she only catches glimpses of. But it is difficult to forget those raging, red eyes. And so she runs endlessly, running from a creature she knows nothing of, stopping now and then when she believes she is safe. But she is never safe. The Minotaur sees all.

Even the most complex organisms on Earth are made up of simple cells. Inspired by Life, this design utilises the idea of simple building blocks (made up of OLED strips and cylindrical holders) to create shapes of various complexities and styles. Whether you want to create a perfect reading lair, decorate your living space or create something no one have seen before - the sky is the limit when it comes to MICRO. This design allows you to weave light around your lifestyle rather than the other way around, which accentuates LG’s Human Centric Care and Empathy design philosophy.
Can't remember what this little piggy was called, but she lived in a pen with two giant rabbits in the campsite at Lake Bled, Slovenia.
Wanted to build some more house, but wanted them to look like row houses without actually being attached to the sides.
I love this guy. It has a vocoder feature for robot talkin' action, and it has knobs and flashing lights -- honestly, I don't know what else you would want from a keyboard. Alligator clips, maybe.
A lot of the voices are monophonic -- that is, only one key at a time will make a noise. This is great, because it means that I don't have to pretend like I know how chords work.
