But man it is fun to be doing micro again. It's been so long.

A new lens has joined the microscope set today: Lomo 3.7x (The smallest one)
The Lomo 3.7x stands out as a microscope lens with a very high price-performance ratio. The lens, which does not experience corner problems in FF bodies, performs as well as "Mitutoyo 5x". The size of the Lomo 3.7x also makes it easier to use.
I sort my microscope lenses according to the following important criteria;
1: Price (Best on the right, worse on the left)
2: Magnification (Best on the left, worse on the right)
3: Quality (Best on the left, worse on the right)
4: Working distance (Best on the left, worse on the right)
Other lenses: Mitutoyo M Plan Apo 5x and Nikon CF Plan 10x 0.30 WD 16.5

Alfred eventually found his Master Bruce in this Creativity Training Room. In this morning, he had prepared a red pocket on top of the breakfast for his Master Bruce. He hopes this red pocket will bring with luck and contribute to his Master's new movie box office. Few years ago, he was shocked when he heard that his Master accepted to play a role in The LEGO Movie, until he found this Creativity Training Room.

One day in the forrest i discovered a small creek , hidden by grass, plants and trees , i went down on my knees and could hear the water flow , i held the camera as low as possible above the water and took this macro picture , there was a new "micro world" to discover....

It's interesting to try out different scales on the models. If they have kept some of the character after all details are gone, and almost reduced to something abstract, I'm happy with composition. This one loses a lot when reduced, but still better than what I expected.
Our LUG is part of an exhibit at the Longmont Museum scheduled for the summer in Colorado. They asked me to make a micro set of their museum to sell in the gift shop. This is what I came up with.
