I found this method of cooking poultry recently and it has worked well consistently. In a High heat oven, 500 degrees for a turkey, this nearly 16 pound bird was fully cooked in 2.5 hours!!! No basting, no butter massages, no nothin' and it tured out great.

Tokyo-based Mint Designs might look like a stylish fashion label. Indeed, the designer duo Nao Yagi and Hokuto Katsui boast experience as assistants to Hussein Chalayan and Alexander McQueen respectively. But Mint see things in the broader terms of product design - or anything else inspiring that may come their way. Since 2001, they’ve been taking simple, everyday apparel, socks for example, and trying to make them better.
There are many great tutorials on how to make pillowcases using this method. My all-time favorites are the Crafty Gemini (www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAomYjHzUQk) and Sew4Home (sew4home.com/projects/bed-linens/burrito-style-pillowcase)
I've been sewing for over 50 years (I was born in 1952) and pillowcases are one of the first things most of us learn to make. It's delightful to learn a new method for something you've done countless times, and this one is just plain fun (and quick)! I've been using this method for about 5 years now, and it never gets boring...the possibilities of combinations are endless and bring joy to kiddos & adults alike!
