This dragonfly catched from a local waterfall! The wings is purple flurescent if you notice it patiently! It is 2.5 inches in size! Quite big size for this family of dragonfly.

Just outside Tully near Townsville in Queensland, there was a tree full of nesting Drongos.
It's hard to see but this guy is holding either a wet stone or bit of mud in his beak, with water sticking to his beak. It was a very hot day, so I wonder if the birds could be bringing water back to the nest for their offspring?
