Headed out to the arboretum for the first time in a long time. The sky was completely clear, the sun was out, the fall colour almost gone... not overly conducive to fall photography. But I figured I'd take the macro lens and see what I could find at the... macro level.
I found a few decent frames, in this image the bright sun helped alot to illuminate the leaves, though the wind was quite a pain! These leaves glowed so bright I needed to severly underexpose the shot to get the red channel within limits!

I considered taking a break from flickr today.
I feel the need to organize my thoughts, my life, and my future. Then someone requested that I upload at least one more pic if i was to take a flickr hiatus.
...but then again, knowing me, i'll be uploading again tomorrow evening.
P.S. i know it's tilted, and I'm not fixing it.

Good morning. It felt like a Marilyn Monroe Monday so I thought I would post three more labels from the Marilyn Merlot wine series starting with the 1994 release.
Between 1953 to 1957 Milton Greene was Marilyn's photographer, artistic adviser, and business partner. In a series of skillful maneuvers Greene freed Marilyn from the constraints of her contract to 20th Century-Fox and formed their independent production company...Marilyn Monroe Productions, Inc (MMP). Thanks to this coup she was able to command commensurate fees, chose her own vehicles, and triumph in the movies "Bus Stop" and "The Prince and the Showgirl"...giving under Greene's tutelage her finest performances.
Unfortunately the collaboration broke up in 1957 when Marilyn's third husband playwright Arthur Mller, became involved in his wife's business affairs. Embittered, Milton Greene withdrew from MMP and refused to allow anyone to examine or publish the bulk of his Marilyn photos before his death in 1985.
The photo on the above label was taken during one of Milton Greene's most famous Marilyn session, which was inspired by the ill-fitting white dress with a crinoline. The enchanting series was photographed at a studio on Lexington Avenue, New York in September 1954.

Na vdd ganhei um kit em que veio esse esmalte e um top coat tb mini, qq hora mostro p vcs.
Agora me digam vcs: que calor sinistro é esse, meu povo?? Quase morri nesses últimos dias!!! Fico com uma preguiça de tudo!! Só fiz unha pq precisva mesmo, fora isso fiquei o dia todo jogada no sofá! --'
