I bought at least five cases of this wine in 2001 when it was only $6 a bottle at Costco and it's still one of my favorite Merlots. The wooden cases are what I used to make the book shelves in my living room.
Got some work done today - only problem is my husband changed what he wanted, so I had to order more pink and leaves.
YAY my first Wollmeise, it's a We're Different Gemischt 80/20 Twin bag from the 01/05/10 update that included Rhabarber and Merlot :D

This is a picture of the label from the last bottle of wine I shared with my Mother before her passing. I bought it when I was visiting her on Long Island in April of 2007. She passed away in July that year.
Two knitted and felted pouches...with the potential lining fabric. The larger of the two has a needle felting design added to the front.
I was inspired to buy this bottle because of the funky label and because Wine Diva's series of cool labels. I never got a sip, but the reports were good.
To capture the essence of Forty Licks, the 40 tracks that cover the Rolling Stone’s career, Winemaker Mark Beaman chose to work with Merlot. This varietal captures the comfort of turning to a solid classic that stands the test of time. Much like the band itself, Mendocino County winemaking stays true to its roots with a consistent and confident character not caught up in fads or trends.
Tasting Notes:
The 2007 Merlot captures the attitude of Mendocino County’s style. Aromas of black cherry, with hints of mint are followed by rich flavors of plum, black cherry, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cedar. This dry red wine is a fine match for herb-roasted, grilled or smoky chili.
