There are two waterfalls in the place so it is called Curug Grenjengan Kembar. The flow of the waterfall originates from a tributary of Cebong whose springs originate from the slopes of Mount Merbabu. Waterfalls and forest areas around it are part of the Gunung Merbabu National Park in the Magelang region

Ya, inilah nama tempat yang sekarang lagi ngetren di kalangan fotografer hingga traveler. Nama tempatnya Puthuk Setumbu. Tempat yang sangat pas dan memesona untuk saya bisa melihat sisi lain Borobudur, Gunung Merapi dan Gunung Merbabu.

Mount Merbabu or Gunung Merbabu in Indonesia. The name Merbabu could be loosely translated as 'Mountain of Ash' in the Indonesian language. It is a dormant volcano located in Central Java with an elevation of 3,145m.
To the rear of Merbabu is Gunung Merapi which can just be seen from this viewpoint at Gedong Songo. Mount Merapi which literally means 'Fire Mountain' is an active volcano with an elevation of 2,930m.
On the afternoon of 25th October 2010 Mount Merapi erupted lava from its southern and southeastern slopes. People living within a 20 km (12 miles) zone were told to evacuate. Over 300 people lost their lives and houses were destroyed. For now she sleeps again!
Looking down from the Summit of Gunung Merbabu in Central Java, Indonesia. The old radio mast below is at an altitude of 2900m a.s.l. and known as Pos 4 or Watu Tulis. Behind this to the right we can see Gunung Telemoyo and further back is Gunung Ungaran in the distance.

Firstly, a big shout out to my home and country Indonesia, which is celebrating its independence day today.
This shot is taken from punthuk Setumbu, a hill just around the Borobudur complex. It is a very popular location for photographers as it offers an amazing view of Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu (both volcanic) and the Borobudur in the far distance.
I was very lucky to be able to shoot with Elia Locardi, and that particular morning we witnessed a quite an amazing weather phenomenon. As just the sun was about to show itself between the two volcano peak, a big massive fog rolled in from the south. The resulting view was quite surreal and mystical.
Tech Stuff:
4 exposure ranging from -2, -1 and 0 and +2 were blended together manually to attain the dynamic range, and then finished using Nik Software Suites in Photoshop CS5
